Waiting for my SS GGTS Airmail Hurray!!!

I can't say enough how happy I am that my SS GGTS is in the mail on route to Canada. I have put Vaseline on all the threads of my never used AVSv3/UFS and it is waiting for its friend SS GGTS.
I would like to say who helpful and what great service I have received from ggecigs.net I can't say enough good things about them Great Service Thank You. All the question I had where answered by imeo and other's on ECF and made my purchase an informed and educated one. Thank You everyone I can't wait to vape with my SS GGTS.

Yes, The SS GGTS is in a class of its own, I have many GG devices, and this is my favorite by far... Imeo, what base material is that plated connector? If it's Brass, I will polish off the nickel plating from just the exposed ring that connects to the body.

The nickel was black? How is this possible? Maybe its dirt from the machining proccedure BR

Its brass under the nickel BR. But dont polish it because brass will tarnish easy and its not healthy

No, the GGTS has no black on it, it is PERFECT!
I'm talking about on my UFS, the connector tarnishes to almost black very quickly where it is in constant contact with my hands (just the ring between the collector tank and top tube of GGTS) I was refering about just polishing down to the base material (if brass) only on that exposed part.

I think he brass looks nice even if tarnished where the nickel does not.

Ah sorry BR, I was talking about the head of the connector where the 2 o-rings go! Then you can do that, no problem. GGTS will look very nice with this piece in gold and the 2 gold caps

I thought the UFS was all stainless. I guess that explains why that ring looks a little darker than the rest?

it's the UFS connector assembly/collector tank core and the control ring. you can see it really well in zoranth's cads on the wiki, and unplated in imeo's first series of videos for the UFS.
