I'm familiar with v1 but before diving in and spending 40$ plus shipping on two bottles of the v2 is it really that much safer I've heard mixed reviews about the VC V2 some say it's better some say it's not much different while others say it tastes like plastic and even after steeping the plastic taste is still present I have searched around for reviews on French vanilla v2 but I've found nothing and I'm wondering if anyone has any info about it.

I can't find Capella's V1 anywhere now. It is not even listed on their own website.

Has it been discontinued?

Would explain why it's out of stock.

If they discontinued I see some premium juice makers going belly up soon.

And if they did I would bet the illuminati is to blame. I bet big tobacco and the illuminati aren't to happy about losing customers. Just think of how many people won't be needing lung transplants and cancer related surgery due to smoking in another 20 years. The insurance companies, tobacco companies, medical supply companies, convenience stores, bars, government agencies and god knows who else is going to be taking a pay cut. Not to mention more people living longer happier lives not sitting in hospital beds watching One Life to Live. Even the reality TV shows and soaps are likely to go bankrupt when lazy smokers quit smoking, get off the couch and spend more time exercising or doing things outdoors once again.

VCV2 is a strange animal. It's very perfumey out of the bottle. After curing it takes on some expected custard characteristics, though not many, and on the exhale it's just weird. Almost plasticized IMO. I've been side-by-siding it at 5/7.5/10% vs. TFA Vanilla Bean Gelato, which is a butyric acid solution, and my impression so far is VCV2 is a weaker butyric acid solution mixed with a bunch of other things that just taste weird, while the Gelato is a single-note custard that needs a lot of help from other flavors, but at least it isn't flat-out strange.

I also have a mostly full 4oz bottle of VCV2 that I probably won't use again.

Lol I bought sample size almost bought a 4oz but it was out of stock so glad I didn't I really don't like the taste at all even mixed and steeped it just stands out even in low percentages I thought it was okay for a few days but now I really cannot go back to it what about French vanilla v2 have you tried that yet it's out of stock everywhere but so is v1 so idk

I have Cap VCV2 and Cap FVV2 and have had similar experiences.

It is very "chemically" for sure. "Plastic" is not a bad description.

I have 5-7 mixes in the DEEP steep to see if it ever melds. My best result was in a batch of Steveo's Custard.

I have tried it as "a drop or two" here and there in other mixes.

I have also had my best results with stevos vc but as my friend from another thread was saying stevos vc is filled with bad stuff that tastes good so it really defeats the purpose of using vc v2 it's like smothering vegetables in butter or a salad with the load of bacon and salad dressing lol I've come to the conclusion that cap vc v2 just isn't useable if you've tried v1 atleast for me
