Is this possible? I wish it was. I'd love to have a PCC box of 20 small capacitors on charge... each one with around 15 minutes worth of power.

vaping would be just like analogue smoking then.

It's called a 10180 battery. I made a Micro Mini Box mod with one and the battery life is pretty close to that. lol

lol. lol. lol.. and roflmao....and lol again.
I asked the same question about 6 months ago (or more)... it's here somewhere. Got a lot of crap from the pros... lol. It turns out that, yes, you can do it..... but the capacitors weigh in at about 4 pounds, if their calculations were correct, even using super caps... several pounds. The energy density for caps is low compared to batteries. Batteries are slow to charge/discharge but have high density. Caps... fast charge/discharge low density. I was looking for a puff or two, charge, puff, charge and would use a "charge tray" rather than an ash tray. But even then.... 4 pounds.

It's worth searching for if you can find it. I know Java_AZ has some smart-.... remark about exercise equipment and building biceps in it....lol.

Oh well. Great minds think alike... and mess up sometimes too. :)

EDIT: size below is too big (12mm OD) - heres some smaller: PowerBurst Data Sheet

I saw that two of these could form a little over five volts, would they offer too much power for an atty?

if small contact nipples were on the side of an e-cig with two of these in series could i use it wirelessly, and...

if i palmed an 18650 and made contact with the e-cig would that offer up enough juice to re-charge it quickly, or would that be the weak link, long re-charge times?

how long would something like this last on a charge?

seems like it could fit into a small tube about 10mm in diameter, or just shrink tubing to test

thinking Cordless El ......, small with the atty in the lips,

Are you talking about recharging the battery or the cap?
If it's the cap, sure. many many times. The caps recharge very fast,

ultracapacitor design tool from Tecate Group,

Vw 5.3
Vmin 4.4
I 1.95
t 6 sec.

Product TPL50/18X41F
NUMBER IN SERIES=2
balancing resistor value recommendation 3,600

That's a bit too thick - 18mm,

giving up on this for now.

EDIT: it was even worse for lower voltage, having to have so many in parallel as well as series
