Thanks for the tip, scuba! gave me an excuse to finally try some capella flavors, especially vanilla custard! And thanks too for the spreadsheet update! I use your calculator all the time for making diy's. most excellent! :)

No problem Kurt, 30% is definantly worth it!!!

I ordered some Capella Flavor drops because they claim to have flavor but no sweeteners and I've come to learn that I don't like the sweet flavors.

They also say that all their flavors are water soluble and Diacetyl Free. Got my order yesterday and WOW I really really like these flavors. Here are the ones I've tried

Toasted Almond - reminicent of the nuttyness you taste in state express only stronger. Really good - no sweetness - this could be an all day vape for me.

French Toast - yummy subtle taste of maple and nutmeg - again no sweetness. I could do this one for extended periods too.

Pumpkin Spice - the pumpkin isn't very strong in this but you do get the clove, cinnamon and ginger - not sweet - the clove is the most prominent of the spices but not overbearing. I like this one too.

coffee bean - strait up coffee taste - no cream no sugar. great by itself or to beef up a weak cappuccino.

Peanut butter - plain and simple yummy, nutty, and again......... no sweetness.

I will say that they smell a lot stronger than they taste and because there is no sweetness you may want to put more in than you would of other flavors. I did this with a couple of them and there was no bitterness or aftertaste.

I am awaiting my first 510 -- also ordered a PCC:thumbs:...2 sets, one for my fiance...
Then I ordered 20ml each of Ry4 and Flue Cured some tweezers and the blue foam (will try the ADP mod with)...

I want to buy the Capella Red Hot Cinnamon and Amaretto while it is still 30% off, but I have a question first.

Can I pour some Flue Cured into a 3ml bottle and then just add 1 or 2 (or 3 or 4) drops of Amaretto to it and get a decent taste or will it over power it?---IOW, Are the flavorings only to be used when you mix your own flavors from scratch?

I tried a another ecig about 3 months ago, but it was not the 510 and it was weak so I did not persue it further...I am really looking forward to getting off of the analogs (which are now the crappiest tasting because they are the cheapest)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all for contributing to this site!!!!!!

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you've been doing some reading already. :)

1-4 drops shouldn't overpower the tobacco flavor. There are ~20 drops in a milliliter and I find 5-10% flavoring is a good way to "touch up" a flavored liquid. Capellas can be a bit weaker than Loranns in my experience so maybe more is needed, but it's good to experiment. Gotta shake thoroughly, of course, and I like to let my DIY experiments "sit" for a day or two before testing, too.

I'll probably buy more from Capellas given the good reviews people have had, but here are my impressions from what I've tried:

French Toast: Fantastic. I love to mix this with Loranns English Toffee, Bavarian Vanilla Cream, and/or Butter and make a Baked French Toast flavor, very rich and well-rounded.

Chocolate Fudge Brownie: Flat, tootsie-roll flavor. Weak, and really needs other flavors to make it worthwhile, I think.

Double Chocolate
: Richer than the Chocolate Fudge Brownie, but still weak. I have tried this in a smoothie, and it had a bitter undertaste even in small concentrations. The bitterness also shows up in liquids if you use too much. I'm trying to find a mix that will accommodate this.

I haven't tried the Root Beer Float I also have, but it smells awfully strong. Still, I want to try the Toasted Almond, Vanilla Custard, and Cool Mint. Anyone tried Peanut Butter or Caramel?

Also, the plastic bottles somehow let out their aroma much more than the Loranns glass bottles, and make my entire DIY toolbox smell of Capella flavors!

Some reading... Try totally obsessed for about 2 weeks - poring through sites and forums!!!!!!!!!!! Friday night I did not get to sleep until 5 am on Saturday trying to decide what to buy!!!!

I really wanted to get better long lasting power than the 510's upfront, but finally decided that they can always be a backup when I do get a power hitter or make my own!

I also got 20 empty 510 carts. Next, I was going to try the 10 3ml bottles for $15 delivered, but am thinking that I better get the 2 sets of 5x20mls plus 3x20ml free all delivered for about $80-85 while they still have the special, I am concerned about the plastic bottles though on the larger amount and how long will it stay fresh and how much plastic will seep into the flavor. There are 2 of us and my fiance smokes more than a pack a day of Marlboro Mediums and lately I am back to the same amount but with cheap trash analogs so I don't think that it will really last us too long, especially with some great flavors!!!

Vaper in waiting...;)...

I have a ton (8 bottles, and not drams)of LorAnn and ordered Capellas to try. Well to say the least I have made 2 more orders along with using the coupon. Capellas is so much better and with the coupon it is like getting all the free goodies from our suppliers. Take advantage and keep an eye on the sight. Capellas is on to us and I do believe thay are out to win our hearts.
I have used the Capellas to pump up existing mixes and to create my own special flavors. The coupon will give you your money back.

I have used these to punch up premixed liquids I already have and dissatisfied with, works wonders. It will lower the nic content though, unless you add nic. The caramel is really good, realllllly good. I will attempt the mix of LorAnn with Capella and see what happens.Vanilla custard, without a doubt-amazing!!!! Bought a 2nd on my third order

You can purchase the glass bottles online at a number of places really cheap. Do a google search and you will have a number of choices to educate yourself with. I have bought some and you just need to think about the air that is left inside with the glass verses removing the air in the plastic bottle and how long will you really have that flavor on hand. It is like doing inventory, once you have set up shop and find what you like to vape and how frequently. Always label with date-first in first out-rotate properly and based on consumption, what needs to be bought and when to buy.

I just received my first order from them today(1 of pretty much everything) and will share my thoughts when I have a chance to try them. Unfortunately that probably won't be until after Christmas. Funny though, I have waited a week and a half for my order... When I looked at the shipping address, I realized they are only 15 miles from my house. Wonder if I can buy in person from them...
