Chill out Shilo...none of us are attacking you, or saying that you're wrong, just relaying our own experiences ;)
Having said that.....

For the most part with Capellas I find for me overnight is good. Now there are some (and Shilo if you had one sitting around long enough you'd probably agree) that get stronger with age. Chocolate brownie is one of them, apple pie is another.

To be honest, whenI first tried apple pie I didn't care for it. I could taste a hint of apple, and that's about it. I started at 5% as always and let it sit overnight. meh
Bumped it up to 10%, overnight again, better, but I don't taste any darned crust ?!$&@????
After a week or so (I'd frankly forgotten all about it and moved on....) on a whim I gave it a hit
Whoooooooaaaa!! What is THIS?! I want more of this flavor....there's crust in there!
...so I bumped it up to 15% and waited overnight again.

This has become one of my favorite vapes. I made up a 50 ml bottle and have a loooot of juices mixed up, switch up several times a day, and rotate them all (3 or 4 flavs) every week or so (this simply means I pull 3 or 4 flavors out of my stash for my daily rotation). EVERY time I go back to the apple pie it's richer and tastier. Why? I don't know, but over time it's developed such a depth and richness, it puts me in ind of a sweet apple tobacco...that's what made me think about adding black fire.

I experienced similar results with the chocolate brownie, but because of past experience with chocolate I still can't vape it.
I don't wait (except overnight) or steep, or bathe as a rule but whatever works for you is fine.
I will say though, if you mix up capella cheesecake and don't wait a week, you'll have a nice popcorn vape.
If you mix up Capella apple pie and don't wait a few days you'll have a pleasant appl-y juice, but you'll not experience the depth of this flavor which is substantial.

Just my two cents, ymmv :D

added:! sorry this is so looooooong :(

I didn't feel attacked and don't need to chill...lol I guess you missed my last sentence. Just saying my experience was completely opposite and the bath helped cut my wait time- thats all. Was just sharing that it does work for some people. I believe thats how vendors do it too. At least thats what I heard.

Two days works for me with the bath-- sometimes one day- I don't notice anything dramatically different or more taste after a week either way and and if I had to wait a week for these kind of flavors I'd go nuts because my husband is a vaping fiend....lol. A tobacco I expect to wait a week or more and I would expect the flavor to change too. I don't get that with these. Are you vaping all bakery or fruit exclusively? I am not, I rotate things out so maybe that has something to do with different tastes among us....lol

When you actually put the flavors in with the VG/pg at least with the the chocolates, you can see the actual separation and the slight heat is just to speed up the dispersement of the chemicals through the whole mix. We each have to do what works for us and i see nothing wrong with letting it sit a week or more if thats what it takes for your tastebuds.

No I don't vape any type exclusively at all. In fact I vape anywhere from 2 - 4 different flavors a day. However funny you bring up that separation cause my CFB that I made last month has that. It was mixed up a month ago and when I pull it out and don't shake it you can see the separation a little. I tell you what though it has a very rich deep chocolate taste to it it didn't have several weeks ago. I didnt add any vinegar to my mixes yet. I have put some lemon juice in peanut butter but thats about it so far. Tobacco flavors for sure need time to steep but I don't have many.

Vendors usually just mix up certain batches and then just add the NIC to what their customers ordered at. Now some vendors offer different mix percentages even so Im sure they just mix it up on the spot.

Yeah I hear you; there is no one right way to do it for everybody.

Sometimes I think all these differences we have about Capella's about the taste might have as much to do with the VG/PG ratio as our actual tastebuds and percentages used.

Like it takes longer for certain flavors to reach fruition at certain ratios of PG/VG. Just gotta do what works for you. :)

Boy, you have that one right, Shiloh!

I've seen posts of where ppl thought they were sensitive to PG, so went the VG route. The only sensitivity I had was a few acne breakouts, so I gave VG a shot. The next day after making the switch with all VG (except for the PG in the nic base and flavorings), I experienced all over body achiness. I dismissed it as stress. The evening of the 2nd night after I got in bed, I had intense chest pains. I dismissed it as an anxiety attack from stress. The third night I had such intense pains I thought I was having a heart attack. Deep, slow breathing didn't even phase it. As I lay there wondering if I would wake up in the morning, I connected it to the only lifestyle change I had recently made which was the VG. I made and vaped 80/20 PG/VG the next day and haven't had any achiness or chest pain since.

Wow...thanks for sharing that (something to look out for).

I tried a certain vendors juice and not only was I diappointed in the flavor (or I should say the 'sameness' of it) but ...and I'm not quite sure how to describe this, but it made me feel 'greasy'. Ya, I'm weird I know. Not only did I feel greasy, but my face, hair reminded me of those high school hormone shifts when you can't shower or wash often enough....yuck! They were high vg juices I think....wonder if that was what did it? Or it could've just been whatever is in that base they use...??

Anyway, not experienced that since I stopped vaping that juice...(rememberring back even my hands felt dirty...)

I tried this warm/hot water bath several times now and I have tasted no difference. Only difference I see is letting it sit a day to a week. I did 2 mixes of Chocolate Fudge Brownie and put one in a hot water bath and nothing to the other. After awhile I took the one batch out of the water and vaped both. No difference in taste to me at all. Now letting it sit for a day to up to a week theres a huge difference. I still got some CFB from last month and it evens tastes more chocolatey now.

Do you shake it up vigorously after the warm water bath?

I find it just helps things blend a bit better. In a very small batch of a few mls, in juice that isn't very thick, I usually don't bother.

Capellas stuff usually blends really well anyway. The more concentrated brands usually benefit lots more from steeping or doing the warm water thing.

I think I need to mix more so I can let the shoot sit longer before going like a choo-choo on them. I'm on the road and I found my french toast mix in my laptop bag, prolly there for 5/6 days, wow a really different animal! at first, the smell was awesome but the taste was just "ok" now I just put a new atty on my rig and I think I vape something else than the first try. Thinking about filling my little tank with it for tomorrow morning!

For me personally the water bath works especially when you use high VG like I do. Add some cap peanut butter cap vanilla custard to a mix of 50/50, give it a shake and look at all the different bubbles you get. Those are still individual flavors IMHO. The warm liquid bath brings down the viscosity of the VG. Just works for me.

The same.mixture I described above I mixed two batches. One went into the water bath, one I shook. I couldn't vape the one I shook right away because it didn't taste right. The one in the bath was vapable after it mixed and.cooled off. This method words for me and no one has complained of off perfume flavors when.I do.

Oh man, I gotta stop reading this.

See, I have my first order of cabella's sitting at home, along with some great (but expensive) Virgin Vapors juices. The problem? I'm not there, .

and won't be for another week. So here I am stuck with a bunch of blah juices drooling.

Damn.

So, I'm now down to vaping unflavored juice with a little sweetener. Actually it's not bad, better than some of the other ......stuff.......I've been vaping.

Should be home in 3 or 4 days, The first thing after I get there? Ha!

Can't wait for steeping. I'll be very impatient. From other posts, I'm guessing strawberry first at 10 to 15%?

The Strawberry is good. I think it's strong - maybe try it at 10% first.

I'm using Cap's Strawberry & Cream at 10%, which I think is the max to go fer me. Gonna mix up some Cap's Sweet Strawberry in a day or two.

My days of 20% are over for most of my flavs!

Been vaping French Toast for a bit now and its at 10% think Im going to bump it to 15% just to see how it turns out. This is a really good vape for sure.

Strawberry is super strong and at 10% alone is too much for me. I tried to mix it with the bubble gum it was just ok.I think it took too much away from the bubble gum flavor. I would need to tweak the levels for that one.

Are there any reviews on Capella's Snickerdoodle Type cookie flavoring?

Oh wow tom released it already . The lemon merange and watermelon are both Amazing ,quite possibly the best flavors capellas has made yet . The watermelon tastes exactly like a watermelon jolly rancher and the lemon merange is spot on . You can taste everything from the lemon to the burntness on the merange cream . PERFECT and super flavorful. Both are must haves imo . Im not sure on the snickerdoodle .Tom forgot to send me that one :( .SNickerdoodle is one of my favorite all time ejuices so if its good i will buy it in 4oz size .
