One of the vendors I mentioned earlier posted that they were too expensive to buy in bulk when he could get the same flavors from TFA for much less. I guess it didn't matter to him that his customers liked Capella's better, it's about profit. There's also a reason why Capella is more expensive and doesn't taste like perfume. If anyone wants to know why Capella will explain the difference in their flavoring over their competitors'. Safety is another reason I use mostly Capella, quality ingredients, chemists on staff and an FDA approved facility following the strict California regulations.

I have to say too, I don't get how anyone thinks they're 'expensive', esp. at 6 for $20? I mean I've purchased a CRAPLOAD of those little vials from tpa, lor, etc and if you're making any size juice besides a tiny amount, it's gonna take half the bottle (and for me I ended up dumping most of them anyway because they tasted like crap). Unless you pick a flavor that you don't like at all (it wouldn't make sense to buy peanut butter if you hate peanut butter overall), or mix them just waaaay too strong, these flavors taste just like the label says. No, oh gag me, etc., and they're going to actually last awhile.

Personally, I plan to start buying the bulk sizes as soon as I get the rest of my samples and can determine priority, as I get funds. IE
1. Vanilla custard
Next time my next fav
Next time....etc

The 6 for twenty is a temporary deal. These bottles are six bucks a piece normally for 13 ml plus add in the 6 dollar shipping. Maybe its not expensive to you but for me it is.

Capella told me that they don't want a lot of bulk vendor sales because they don't want to grow out of their current facilities. I can understand that. When you have a manufacturing company you have to find the most profitable size for your business and growing larger may mean less profit and more costly equipment. These guys know what they're doing and know they have a quality product. I was told that their ingredients cost them more than what TFA sells her flavors for...that should tell us something. He also said that it can takes years to develop a new flavor and he doesn't understand how companies can come out with dozens of flavors in such a short time. Well, anyone that has tasted theirs and the competitors can understand. Cheaper ingredients can smell and taste perfumey.

I also have to buy sweetener which I allready have for most of their flavors from what I have read. I am glad you all love these but its kind of a turn off to me that no one else carries them where I can get them conveniently when I buy my other supplies for one FAIR shipping price. These are twice the price of some of the other flavorings and even more than Flavor Art also who are also very condensed. Once you add in the shipping its more for these than any other brand we use.

Thank you-- I have my answer. They want business conducted on their site alone and don't want a bigger market- thanks for the info.

I think someone should do a co-op. Buy the larger sizes and split them up, we could save a lot of money. I would like to be able to buy them in 1 or 2oz sizes but not in the 4 oz size they offer.

About the shipping, they usually offer first class in addition to priority. I imagine the priority was due to the holidays and if you request first class they may do that for you.

They have a contact us section (wholeseller inquiry) for those interested in bulk and/or reselling....might be worth asking for those interested. Flavor Drops Wholesaler Inquiry Page

the other vendors just dont want to cough up the money is all... the links i provided even have bulk pricing if you buy over 200 worth of stuff...i am sure buying from capellas directly in big containers and repackaging it like most to would be cost effective..

Climbing on soapbox (give me a minute....I'm old and in a lot of pain...ok, there we go)

For anyone else that feels this way, first let me say I understand, then please allow me to say that the reason I climbed up here is to try and help those, who like me started vaping and dealing with pumping out countless dollars on popular flavor companies only to be disappointed. I was not only disappointed, but after being SO excited about vaping, and FLAVORS? REALLY? (goody, goody!) was ready to give up on vaping all but UNFLAVORED juices rather than vape that 'stuff' (I try to be nice) until I couldn't stand the boredom and probably went back to cigs.

I've only been vaping a little over a month, so I'm no expert....far from it, but I DO know what I like. See, I used to be a Big Lots shopper. I still do shop there on occasion, but I used to buy EVERYTHING I could there first, then shop elsewhere if I had to. That included tools (now you GUYS know where I'm going with this don't ya?). I used to come home with screwdrivers, wrenches, even power tools that we needed from Big Lots and my husband used to say 'why don't you just buy GOOD tools?'. WHAT? What do you mean, GOOD tools? These tools work just as well as those name brand tools you spent 5 x as much for at the hardware store every time you need one, and look at all the MONEY I saved!? But guess what....those Big Lots tools may have worked just fine once, twice, maybe even 3 times, but eventually they broke or stopped working for whatever reason and my husbands' tools still sat there looking pretty and working as well as the day he bought them...for YEARS!! Silly me though would go right back out and replace my cheap tool with another just like it. Sigh....it took me a good long time to learn that indeed a LOT of the time, you get what you pay for.

Now I have to say, I looooove ice cream. Used to be if it was cold, and in a flavor I liked, it was fine with me. Then one day Haagen Daas (sp?) was on sale and I decided to try it and see what all the hype was about. I still love ice cream but can't eat it nearly as often, or as much when I do eat it because I can't eat anything but HD anymore! That other stuff just is NOT ice cream, but a poor imitation.

I mentioned that I'm old...and in pain. I live on disability and have for waaay longer than anyone should have to. My husband retired this last summer, and his pension isn't much more than my disability check, so we are NOT rolling in the dough here. That's why it was so discouraging that I was spending all this money on flavors that tasted nothing like they were s'posed to. If you LIKE these flavors, I am SO happy for you, but if you're like me and really just can't stand them, do yourself a favor and try the Capellas. TPA costs 35 cents a mil....Capellas costs 46 cents a mil when it's not on sale. Capellas tastes just like it says on the label. AND if you're pinching pennies like I am, they offer you a choice. You can get it in a hurry for $5.95 or pay a little over $3 for usps. Not many vendors do that.

*climbs down off soapbox ..slowly...to eat some Hagen Daas, use some good tools and lament over the folly of her youth

Exactly . Thats why i buy good tools . I use to buy crappy cheap tools that would never work that great and would break on the third use too and realized with most things you do get what you pay for . Capellas flavors are actually a bargain . Not only are you getting the best flavoring but its also cheap . 5.95 gets you a 13ml bottle . Look how much 13ml of flavoring goes for anywhere else . Fa is around 4.95 for 10ml .Tpa around 3.80, diyfs is 8.80 . Capellas is not really expensive . Of course you can say well i can buy smaller bottles of tpa etc but you dont realize a 4ml bottle can be used up in 1 or 2 30ml bottles of juice so you end up paying more since you have to keep buying it . WIth capellas discount it actually is cheaper than the rest .

I hated many of the other companies flavors too but I am not sure your prices per ml is completely accurate it depends where you buy. To try lets say 18 flavors at Capellas on sale I have to pay 60 dollars plus shipping to try two I have to pay 18 dollars if I go with regular shipping. I have to spend 70 dollars to get free shipping for me folks thats ALOT to spend on flavorings at one time and I don't even know if that seventy dollar free shipping thing applies to the people who are using their 6 bottle deal.

I too am on a limited budget thats why I agreed with the co op option.

You gotta pay shipping with any flavoring though .

True but a small order of two bottles that weigh less than a half an ounce should not be 6 dollars to ship. I buy where the shipping is free or reasonable for first class which is half or less that cost. It also raises the cost you are paying for that 6 bottle deal by a dollar per bottle . $4.33 per 13 ml with the 6 deal sale and the shipping. Sorry I am a tightwad I guess.

I usually mix all my stuff around 20% because I like a lot of flavor. I mixed the peanut butter up at 10% earlier and I can't leave it alone. Has loads of flavor. So if I can use 1/2 as much as what I'm using of the other flavors it makes the cost average out better. I don't know if the 10% will hold out across the board on all their flavors, but it's definitely rockin the peanut butter.
