I've only been vapin a few months and been DIYing for a short time. I've been trying to recreate a Chocolate I received from Americaneliquids. It was with menthol but I would like to make it without the menthol, it had a creaminess to it and almost get the feel on your teeth. I've tried PA's and Lorans and Capella but they are too much like dark bitter sweet chocolate. I decided to get the flavoring from AEL but no matter what I do with the percentages, I still can't get the taste and mouth fill that I got initially. Maybe need to add a custard to get more richness?... Any suggestions??

You could try some Creme de Menthe. I added a touch to some Choc Fudge Brownie and it was pretty darn good!

I think you have Capella's confused with TFA. 15% is usually the top most mix at with the Capella's. A lot mix at 10%.

15% has been my sweet spot so far, and I use mostly VG.

I guess it's not cheap, but expensive and cheap are relative terms. So, the question should be - expensive compared to what?

I see people use Capellas at %15-25 . Isn't that really expensive ?? Like 10 ml of flavor for 50 ml of liquid ??

It's not the cheapest way to do it, but Capellas seems to produce very good results...doesn't matter if you're a beginner or pro.

I'm finding lots of their flavours good at 10-15%. Haven't needed to go any higher yet.

About $6 for 13ml. At the higher end of the flavouring companies but most of us have decided it's worth it :)
For about $20 you can get 118mls...I guess if you really liked a flavour you could do this.

Inawera is about $1.50 for 5ml and $2 for 10ml.

Flavourart is about $3.30 for 10ml. 100ml is about $21...but it's much more concentrated than Capella. (like 5% vs 15%)

I guess it's expensive but it's not as pricey as pre-mixed stuff.

Yes I was particulary comparing them with FArt , because FA do the job at 5% and less.

FA has good tobaccos and some really good flavors in other categories. I highly recommend Black Fire. Try both brands if you can but yes-- a a rule FA is far more concentrated.

icedog is a happy camper! just found a 2 weeks old CDS mix in my cartos drawers! had to get a brand new atty and i'm dripping like a mad bat outta hell! that shoot is out of this world!
I love CDS :D Mix that about 50/50 with Apple Pie....oooooo, so good.

I've never tried any tobaccos. I think I want to avoid them for a while longer. Kind of afraid that might make me slip back to analogs :( & I'd be devastated.

If you feel Tobacco flavors would make you,,,slip up! then your doing whats best for you. [For me] The tobacco's with a touch of something else is reminding me of how much BETTER vaping is as to analogs. Think Peach Tobacco or Honey cured tobacco or even some capella's Snickerdoodle & tobacco! I love the tobacco flavor deeply and its awesome to get that flavor from a juice and for "me" it keeps away the death sticks --- so far away that it will never ever get in my lungs again...EVER! My lungs are all juiced up :vapor:
