ScBelle, do you have a mix that you do with Pralines & Cream? I bought some premade P & C from a vendor & I love it. Hence, I purchased the P & C from Capella's but have not used it.
Any suggestions would be muchly appreciated :)

I like it as a standalone (w/steeping) and it's great as a tobacco 'enhancement' :)

How about 15%? I like my flavors a bit on the stronger side. I'm 2 refills of a carto away from being out of P & C, so I'll have to do this tomorrow.

One of these days I'm going to have to try some tobacco because I'll bet it does taste good as an enhancer. But for now I am a happy little camper with all of my other flavors. I'm not gutsy enough to try it yet. My own personal worries about returning to cigs. I was a heavy smoker (1 1/2 pad) of "lights", so what would you recommend for a tobacco flavor?
Gotta run out for a while, but I shall return later :D
I want to thank all the veterans here who have help me make some really successful juices. I love that you are all so willing to share your knowledge & expertise with us newbies. I would crashed & burned a long time ago.

so what would you recommend for a tobacco flavor?
Let me remind you that most tobacco flavors are NOT that close to the real thing! second I would think the best way to start off is with a tobacco twist! if you like Peach then do a peach tobacco or try one one my fav's and do a Honey cured tobacco. A lot of people love a caramel flavor with there tobacco and I found capella's strawberry interesting with a 555 mixed at 5%. I "F"n LOVE tobacco and am itching to try a Watermelon & Virgina flue or 555 OH and the Lime and 555...

There is a lot you can do and if you like a tobacco flavor that does not mean having it will draw you back into analogs and for most of us it just reminds us we really don't half to slip-up cause we can curb the mental need with flavor.

Exactly! Tobacco juices (even the extract I made with the ryo tobacco I used to smoke!) taste nothing like cigs! Keep in mind, nothing is burning ;) I've tried a few that taste a bit like a pipe tobacco, but that's as close as it gets in my experience.

When I first started vaping I was on a quest for the perfect tobacco flavor...I think a lot of us go through that and quickly discovered disappointment lol! One of the first I tried is a pretty popular juice RY4...which of the ones I've tried anyway was pretty much a caramel vape with a twist. I think anyone that likes caramel would like a good ry4.

I really did love when my DH smoked a pipe or the smell of a good Cuban. The smell was wonderful. I would love to mix a little with peach or cherry. That may be the thing that my peach juice is missing. RY4 is a "caramel" type & I've seen a lot written about it. What would be a purer flavor like a pipe or Cuban tobacco type? Would Tobacco Absolute fit that bill? I guess I need to find a good Jui-bacco school. :)

Not real sure what would be the best for your Cuban, but just a fyi it won't be TA. The TPA TA is a hay/grassy note and not anything like a cuban.

Mmmm, that's good.

Have a vial of 15% vanilla cupcake about 3 weeks old, was OK, but faint. Vaped raspberry all day yesterday, added some of vcup to little raspberry left in clearo. Think I'm about 4:1 vc/rasp. Yum.

Gonna play with this one.

Mmmmmm I really need to grab some more flavors myself soon. I got to wait after Vapebash cause I know Im going to spending money there for sure. I have a list of 19 flavors from Caps alone I need and about 12 from others. Thats not counting the tobacco flavorings I would like to try as well. Im going to need a gun cabinet to hold all of this stuff in soon.

I just got the chocolate glazed donut and every time I get a new flavor I usually mix it straight to get a sense of where it is.
I mixed at 10% with base and 20 minutes later it was like eating a chocolate glazed donut! NEVER in my life did I enjoy a one flavor DIY like this. Amazingly good! I tend toward 20% most of the time and 5-8 flavor mixes but this is finally a quick chocolate fix without steeping. LOVE IT!

BTW....I did add a bit of cotton candy to sweeten a bit FWIW

Newell, I do a mix with 10% pralines and cream, 5% graham cracker, 3% butter, 1% em, 1% Acetyl Pyrazine
Thanks SCBelle :) I do not have anything other than P & C. Not sure what Acetyl Pyrazine is, so I wouldn't use that one. I'll give 15% a try as a stand alone and then add EM if necessary.

Speaking of Acetyl Pyrazine... scbelle, are you using 1% straight from the bottle from TPA (which comes at 5%, I think)?
The smell of it reminds me of a vendor juice that I really like. I diluted mine (a lot) so that I would stay under the recommended PPMs, and it doesn't seem to do anything.

(Sorry to get so OT)

You dilute 4 drops in a 6ml bottle of PG

I saw the thread explaining the math for that. I wound up doing the math my own way. The results weren't too different, but I made mine a little more diluted. I think the 4 drop version then called for using 1 or 2 drops of the diluted liquid in a 10ml recipe (or something like that). I wanted a little more control than that. I made mine so it could be used at 10% max in a recipe.

I like the way it smells, and would like to get that flavor into some mixes, but even at the max of 10ppm, there's not much happening. I think some people are using it without diluting. I seem to remember someone talking about adding a small drop of it in a recipe. Even in a large batch, that would be way more PPMs than the recommended amount.

I'll have to search for more info on the stuff when I have a chance, to see how dangerous it would be to use larger amounts.
