It is a fact that VG has less flavor. Its great only if you have a PG allergy.

I'm going to have to disagree with this blanket statement. There is VG only based ejuice available that is very full of flavor.

I love V4L, but in all honesty they do need to improve their VG line. And with Steve's passion, I believe that will happen.

But just as you get different (or better?) flavors in PG juice from different suppliers, the same holds true with VG juice.

I just don't want people to get the idea that there is "less" flavor in all VG juices.

I do think it's typically said e.g. in DIY forums that VG dilutes flavors, but obviously many ppl love and prefer it so no matter; it's also typically said that VG is sweeter, but a minority (which I'm definitely amongst) taste no sweetness at ALL in it. So again, no matter really, as this seems to be one of the most subjective areas of all when it comes to vape taste perception.

However, what I've been wanting to comment on is that altho I personally have found VG (from any vendor, not just V4L) to be pretty flavorless and not sweet like PG at all... and also not to help address my intermittent tickle-cough... I think I'll be buying some regularly! Because to me it tastes/feels like SMOKE! It's ashtray flavor/feel; "ashtray with essence of unsweetened >>>insert any flavor here, e.g. pb cup, capp, smilin, tea, whatever<<<<."

I've been vaping for over three months and so far have really not missed or craved the analog/ashtray taste and feel; however, I think I AM ready for vaping to stop tasting so damn good!! (!!!!) I only want it to satisfy my hand-to-mouth, nic, and sensation of inhalation needs; not mimick and expand on the standard tendency to overindulge on 'consumables' just because they taste good! If great taste was what I felt I needed to stay off analogs then fine, for sure. But so far it's not. Meanwhile, I'm already an insomniac and sometimes I lay awake hours longer than necessary just because I can't put down the dang Irish Cream, or pineapple, or green tea, or peach cobbler, or Cuban, or or or...!

Enough is enough lol! So yes, I plan to add VG to my regular regime simply because to me it's ashtray flavor but keeps the lungs and hands sufficiently full -- familiar thangs I want to try settling for again. Both to save money (was a 1.5 pack/day ultra lights smoker, but have been vaping about 4-5 cartos a day!! 8-o) and to reduce this dern constant vape fiddling!! Have tried many of the available flavors but so far peanut butter cup VG is serving this purpose best for me, really don't know why!

Very interesting post, MiA, and there's something in me that connects. I like vaping but would like to vape as little as possible, with as little nic as possible. In fact, one reason I haven't (yet) gone the refill route is that I'm afraid I'll vape even more. It's been barely a month for me, so time will tell. At least the old MLs are history, and I'm glad I found V4L and this site. It's almost all good even if I'm still weighing PG and VG and various nic levels. Hang in there.

I hear ya, and it looks like the 'disassociation' process can indeed be very natural and efficient. In reality I suspect at this point I don't even need the nic anymore, just the hand-to-mouth and inhalation parts... and that's coming from a decades-long smoker who had NO specific intentions of quitting when she tried out her first ecig just for the heck of it!

Good stuff. You hang in there too! :thumb:
