Hey guys, forgive the terminology here, as I'm relatively new and it's been a while since I posted.

A while back, I got my Mom one of the Atoms seen here:

The Liberation ATOM eCigarette

The concept is great, but my Mom doesn't really like dripping liquid into it, for a number of reasons.

She was much more comfortable with the disposable little cap ends that come pre-filled with liquid- it's more convenient for her, she knows when she's "out" more easily, etc.

Anyway, it seems like there are a number of liquid makers, but I was wondering if, for this model, I can get more caps that are pre-filled. The only catch is, it needs to be American made- when it comes to consumable things, I don't trust most Chinese products as far as I can throw them, so it's imperative in this case. (I realize the electronics themselves are Chinese made, that's not an issue :) )

Alright, thanks so much and hope to get informed!

Best,
BB

All the mass produced e cig stuff is Chinese made, you wont find American made stuff, certainly not pre filled carts.
You do realise the majority of what you wear and household items are made in china?
why dont you trust Chinese products? i think maybe its time to re educate yourself for your own sake.

Perhaps you didn't read my posting closely enough. I said Chinese consumable products (i.e. stuff you put in your body). Why? Oh golly, let's see.. how about the melamine case... or, even though it's not consumable, all the flammable drywall that's now being recalled thanks to lax Chinese standards and absence of quality control.

The Chinese government and manufacturing infrastructure are not nearly as regulated as in the United States (I sincerely doubt an honest Chinese equivalent of the FDA exists or even cares about this stuff.) If a piece of electronics fails me that's made in China, I can easily go buy another. But when it comes to things you put in your body, if it turns out they were loading it with cheap chemical fillers to make more money, oops! They do it all the time and I wouldn't put anyone's health at risk that I know with that unregulated mess. Let me ask you another question- if you were on heart medication, would you want to buy it direct from a Chinese manufacturer and shipped to you? Well, great if so, I wouldn't in a thousand years.

That answer your question?

First, what your calling caps is a Pre-Filled Cartridges.

Second, you can refill them... Just buy some ecopure (uk) or johnsons creek (us) juice and refill them if you are that concerned.

You arent gonna find prefilled carts with any liquid besides from china.

No one has died from a bad batch of e-liquid yet (probably cus it would still be safer than a analog cigarette), so i think were ok.

First off - Google is Your Friend!

Welcome to LiquidXpress

E-liquid by Halo : The secret to good E-Liquid?

New USA Made E-liquid in Stock | Electronic Cigarettes by Instead E-Cigarette

but my personal favorite and standard by which all others are judged comes from the U.K.

Electronic Cigarettes and eLiquid / Totally Wicked eLiquid / electronic cigarette eliquid nicotine fluid products

I took a look at the ATOM, to me looks just like a BluCig. Bump Mom up to a 510. She'll be a lot happier.:D

yeh i get your point but the word "consumable" doesnt just cover stuff you put in your body, i'd even group electronic devices into the consumable pidgeon hole. Anyway,,i wouldnt worry too much about Chinese e liquid as long as it comes from a reputable supplier, or as already mentioned, intellicigs ecopure is manufactured here in the uk.

You can refill the caps (cartridges) with liquid as stated above. Welcome to NHaler! is another REALLY good American company where you can buy the liquids. The faster you give up on pre-filled carts and switch over to liquid, the more cost effective the e-cig or pv (personal vaporizer) will be in the long run. Expect to pay a little more for American liquid than you would Chinese liquid like Dekang. In most cases, it's not mass-produced and the flavor is a higher quality.

batteries and atomizers are considered "consumables". anyway, get your mom a kr808d-1 and buy a bunch of empty cartomizers and fill your own with USA juice (if that makes you feel better)...

OK, I think I'm narrowing down then on a solution here. Two questions

1. If I manually refill them, how long would these cartomizers last in terms of drips, not time? (My Mom's current usage is 3 drops ~= 1 cig) I just spoke with Mom and she would be totally willing to "prefill" cartomizers if it means she doesn't need to drip fill for every cig. And I'd get to use the liquid I want!

2. Since I'm still not completely knowledgeable on the tech here- is this model of fill once, smoke many available on the 510s? I.e. a cartridge that would work as mentioned above?

Thanks a lot all!
