the normal wall charger is 500 mah, so i think it will work but I prob wouldnt recommend using a car charger either way...u dont wanna leave an eGo battery in your car during the summer either. So if you do, just be careful. Im not an expert but steeljan on youtube talks about usb chargers in one of her videos.

I would only be using it while driving with AC on... I just hate having to worry about battery dying before I get home! lol :D

If you do get a chance to watch the video by steeljan, its worth searching for. She does say that charging directly from a laptop usb is not advised and could kill your laptop batty because the charger draws more than the laptop can supply. Then she talks about car chargers briefly, i dont remember exactly what she said but i remember her saying its not the best thing to do.

I looked for her video, but all I found was the one where she is just showing all the different Volt products that can be charged...

My car charger for my cell phone has a USB port built into the part that plugs into the power port of the car. I use it all the time to keep an eGo battery topped off when I am out and about. But I don't leave it plugged in when I am not running the car. Florida heat ... car can easily get up to 120 degrees inside. But yeah for out and about driving, as long as the adapter can match the volts and amps that the USB charger needs, you should be good to go.
