vape mail my first mech, Caravela mod by hcigar I'm pretty impressed with it.
This thing is pretty small in 18350 mode with kayfun lite+ and nano rings, shorter than a standard evod 650 mah.
Came with 3 tubes 18650 - 18500 - 18350 and a standard ecig case. All the threads are "buttery smooth" (over used term in the vape community) and the switch works every time no matter where you press it, gonna do a magnet switch if I can find some 10mmx6mmx1mm magnets. The switch can take the weight of a half full kayfun 3.1 but its way too wobbly just to leave it. The spring in the switch looks real cheap, everything else looks and feels good.
Only had it a couple of hours so I haven't really tested it out fully yet. One big minus is the 510 pin, its adjustable but you only get one. Haven't got it to fire any of my kayfun's (have 4 atm 2 real + 2 clones) with the original pin, fires button tops but there is a 1mm gap, flat tops it won't fire. Original pin is 5mm, I made a 4mm pin out of a m5 brass screw for flat tops and 6mm pin for button tops so the kayfun will sit flush. You don't have to notch the pins the atomizer will adjust the pin when you screw it on.
Contacts are supposed to be silver plated, I have no idea if they really are I noticed no difference with my home made brass pin. Stuck the same atomizer on my DNA20 set it to same watts as the Caravela using an ohms law calc and couldn't notice any difference. Resistance on the original pin is 0.0 ohms and my home made pin reads 0.1 ohms.
Will it kick ?? I have no idea, got one in the mail so Ill give an update when it arrives.
Overall the Caravela Mod by HCigar is spot one, then again you never know what you get with clones, they are never the same even if the model and manufacturer are the same.
