New smaller V meters. Don't know why I never saw these before.

The on off on slide switch selects between battery and load voltage. The center position is off and the meter is off.
BJ, those voltmeters also don't 'blink' (cycle through 6 outputs). I put something similar in my Desktop mod and much prefer these to the 1S-6S voltmeters.
For charging I glued a shrouded male balancing plug inside and use a double female extension to my external charger.
For the DNA the batteries are parallel 3.7 volts so you can use any of the small internal battery chargers. The Raptor uses two batteries in series, 7.4 volt , so no internal battery charger, just charge with and external charger thru the balancing plug. Like this:
Yep, I quit using those blinker a long time ago, but had not seen these smaller 2 wire meters.
Finally got around to changing the 5.6 diode to a 6.2 on my first Raptor 20 amp. Now it cuts off at a safe 6.45v on my lipo flat pack. Before it would cut off at 5.75v and my lipo pack would over discharge. I would have to jump start the batteries to get them charging again. Clic pic for video.
Second day vaping on the 6.2v zener and it cutoff again as it should at 6.45v. Amazing how that little bugger (zener diode) knows when to cut off. So now I have LVC... I know for you electronic wizs it is meh, but to me it is a new accomplishment.

I was thinking of using a female connector for balance charging ??
got most of my parts in but the 200 ohm pot I ordered is to big . most trimmer pots have a life expectancy from 12 to noon !
it is hard to find 200 ohm pots !
the battery is on order now ..and building a box for it also wooden frame with front and back epoxy and carbon fiber layup.just about done.
qwestion on battery life ...compared to the dna set up ...with 7.4 v it should draw halv the amps for the same wattage ...so the mah on the batterys should go twice as far ??
I think what you are calling a female is this, a shrouded male balancing plug. My 4200mAh on the Raptor is giving me as much run time as my 6000 mAh on the DNA with equivalent coils and settings. I thought the same on the trimmers, but in over 4 years of building with them have not had one go yet.

of course I got a different charger ...the imax b6....reading the instructions now .
they say you need the main battery leads plus the balance plug hooked up . so I am waiting for the battery to get here and see what plugs are on that .and see what I need to get for the plugs ...I might have to use 2 plugs in the mod or find a 5 connection plug for it ..
of course a scematic would be nice !! I will let it sink in to be sure to now what I am doing !
on the pot I will use the small once I got and figure out a shaft for it .

PITA with chargers that use main battery leads. I just got a new Turnigy 420 that goes to 2 amps thru just the balancing plug.
Wish the meter showed V instead of % like the smaller DC-4S.

just found some 6 pin balance charger connectors 6 pin jst on ebay ...6.78 for 10 pairs.
I think that will work out pretty good for the mod and charger ...the b6 charger will show the voltages for each cell in the pack .
the features are impressive on the b6 and I am glad I got it. it should be no problem to wire up a harness for it .

Great, I have thought of rigging up a plug to use some of my heavy duty RC chargers but then thought better of it, don't really want to go over 2 amps on those skinny balancing plugs and wires.. Show us your wiring when you get it set up....
