Here is my Third dna 30 Clone Built - this is a 30 watt chip. There are pictures for the other two built - first one was a 20 watt chip on Hammond box, the second one is built using FT chana clone box.
Parts List:
(1) dna 30 Style China clone chip similar to FT clone chip 30 watts
(2) Hammond 1590ABK aluminum enclosure - black painted
(3) Keystone 1043 18650 Battery Holder
(4) Fatdaddy spring loaded 510 enclosure
(5) C&K Clicky buttons + and -
(6) 12mm vandal switch
(7) DH Lab stereo quality hookup wire
(8) http://www.partsconnexion.com/ mil sepc rated house stereo hookup wire
(9) carbon fiber wrap
(10) Two T&E poly switch wire in parallel. 2.6 amp hold and 5.0 amp trip
(11) Mamu Shapeway Screen Cradle
(12) Third party 1 amp micro USB charger from ebay
(13) Fiber optic cable to route the USB charging LED light to the out side of the case
Since the chip was mounted to the top cover, once the MODS is complete, one can not completely remove the top cover. I managed to route all of the wire to the left side of the case so it can be open (to the left) in case battery change is required . I purposely left more wire than needed, in case I need to replace component, this makes closing of the case a little tricky. Some movement is required to completely fit everything inside.
On with additional testing and final glue down.
There are two pictures with my other two MODS. the center one the Chana clone box from FT. This gives a reasonable comparison of the size of the new built.
