Care and use of Mt3s/T3s?

I've tried looking for this info else where, there are 184 pages of threads on Mt3s alone, all of what I've found is more "*insert clearo* vs T3s/Mt3s" or just random mentions in a thread that has nothing to do with anything about this clearo, so forgive me if this has been covered somewhere that I over looked while being totally overwhelmed by search results.

I'm using a MT3s that I've been using for two weeks, and my flavors are beginning to become a little funky and off tasting (The two I vape on most frequently). I admit when my clearo ran low I was usually in a hurry and just topped it off and went out the door.

So essentially what I need to know, is should I have or do I need to clean the clearo between fills, and how often would I need to change the actual atomizer head?

Wow, thanks rockb4 that video helped a lot on how to clean one of these! Not to mention I accidentally pulled the top part off and the flavor wicks flew out. I wasn't sure if I had put them back in correctly and was nervous to even try to use it yet, luckily I only purchased the MT3s for flavors I heavily vape and have only needed/using 3 of the 5 I purchased, but at least I know now it's fine for when I do need it. Thanks again.

But can anyone still help with what the life expectancy is for these, and how I'll know I need to replace the head rather than just give it a good cleaning?

Life expectancy of a coil can vary depending on:

How much you’re using it
What kind of juice you use
How much(and what kind of) cleaning you do
How picky you are about its performance

I’ve been using my current coil for three weeks. I'm not getting quite as much vapor and flavor from it, but I might keep using it for another week or so. The only maintenance I do is giving everything a quick rinse under warm water every two or three days. When cleaning doesn’t help, its time to replace. As cheap as these coils are, it just doesn’t seem worth my time to fiddle with them very much. Just my YMMV.

As far as the frequency of cleaning the heads, I clean them whenever I start getting a very muted or off flavor. I've had a head on my T3s last for around a month before having to change it out or rebuild it so like the above post says, it's all about how much you use it, the juice etc. Now I usually change out the heads when the wicks start looking really gunky/worse for wear and cleaning no longer works. Hope this helps

I usually rinse all parts under hot running water after two or three fills, and dry burn as needed.

When I pull off the post over the coil, to take out the flavor wicks for dry burning, I usually toss them, and replace with one strand of 100% cotton yarn, trimmed to fit after putting the top post back. Been using the same coils on a couple T3 for at least a couple months, but since my toppers are in rotation, not exclusive use, hard to say precisely.

But the T3S heads are cheap, and also easy to recoil / rewick, and I like the vape I get.

If the taste starts getting funky, try the cleaning first. If still not happy, just put in a new head. So having some spares is always a good idea!
