I want to be able to take off the tank from the mod when I'm out & about for various reasons..

Currently carrying around filled & unattached iClear16's in my shirt pocket, with no issues so far (knock on wood)

Is this possible with bottom-coil glassomizers?

If so, any in particular (brand/model/size) that are best for this?

If possible, I'm looking to get away from plastic

Thanks!

Careful with the iClear 16s. After filling them a few times, the rubber seal that sits on the coil will shift, allowing liquid to leak through the mouth piece.

I also carry a few with me, but I carry them in an old hard eyeglass case. You could probably do the same thing using protanks, minis, etc.

I don't know about the iclear16's....but I would NOT carry the iclear30 outside period, attached or not. That is an inside only device for me.

I carry my carto tanks filled and unattached in my pocket quite a bit (IBTanked CTs)

I have been packing my Kanger Pro Tank 2 Mini's around for a couple of months now. Thrown in my bathroom bag while traveling. Shoved in a jacket pocket or pants. Today I dropped one and it hit the back of a kitchen chair before bouncing of the kitchen cupboard and finally hitting the floor. I have not experienced any leaking problems. I really should be more careful but dang these things are tough. The glass is tough and if you do happen to break the glass they are cheap and easily replaced.

Protanks fit perfectly in a battery box!
