Cart causing a short in battery?

I've been using the Vapor King for about 6 months now and never saw this happen til today....I was on break at work and wanted to switch flavors so I changed the cart-and it wasn't working. I was confused because I could see it light-but it only stayed on for a minute. Again confusion because this battery should have lasted another 4 hours. I thought maybe this battery is no good anymore. So I put this cart on my spare battery, which I KNOW is fully charged, and I get 3 quick blinks of the light. At first I was freaking out because it was only 11, I had to work the rest of the day with 2 dead batteries?!?!

So I put my original cart on, and it works no problem. On both batteries. I got home and tried a bunch, but this one cart causes my long battery to just light for a second, and my short battery to blink 3 times and go off.

Very strange. This ever happen to anyone else?

This is interesting. I have narrowed the issue down to 2 of my XL manual batteries, and only when combined with the Wowboy and Wow Peppermint carts I am using. These same 2 batteries work as expected with my other Premium carts, and the Wow filled carts are fine on my other XL manual batteries. All batteries are the latest design from v4l.

So it would appear to be a battery issue, although I am not sure what is causing it. Fortunately it is an easy fix.

I received a bad Pear Cartomizer (Premium I think) that cut out the Battery after only 1 second, so it seems like the Battery's chip can detect a short or very low resistance and cut out.

Have you tried cleaning those two batteries? Perhaps there is low electrical flow and the chip thinks there is no cart attached when a cart with lower than normal resistance is attached.

I believe it's the threading on the battery causing this in my case. Battery on the left will not activate when a Premium carto is tightened all the way down (led blinks 4 times). Battery on the right does not have this problem.

As you can see, the problem battery seems to have an extra row of threading present. Either a defect during manufacturing, or an alternate design perhaps?

It's not really an issue for me, as loosening the carto a bit does solve the problem.
