The Land of Confusion
Ok, I kinda hate to admit that I have no clue. However, I have no clue. I am sure that my trusty pals Morandir and Snow (as well as others) will be able to explain this so my feeble little mind can get a total grasp on it. So I want to understand a little better about the differences in cartos. I can test the atomizer output on my Provari (don't worry - I still LOVE my Titans, carrying them with me everyday) and see that my V4 carts are about 2.4ish. So, what exactly is the deal with low resistance cartomizers, and even the 3.0 output? Is the flavor going to be different? Different amounts of vapor? I just dont understand. I am currently in love with No.7 and Blackack and want to get the most out of them. What will the other cartos do for me?

Also, it appears that I can't seem to spell cartomizer in the title. Oops!!!

Ms. KimberlyM there are many answers to your question. There are quite a few differences in using 2.3ohm range cartos and 3.3ohm range cartos at the same voltage. Since you're using a provari you'll notice the biggest difference of using the different ohms at the same wattage. Lower ohm cartos give more th, more vapor production potential than a higher ohm'ed one at the cost of only getting the most dominate aspects of the juice. Higher ohm'ed brings out every aspect while losing the th and vp production potential. At the same wattage (Ohm's law, volts/ohms= amps, amps X volts = watts) you'll see the vp/th potential equal that of a lower ohm'ed carto, but retain the full spectrum of the flavor. Hope this helps.
