the last two cartos i've used have begun crackling and spittling liquid on me, and it seems to happen when the tank is low on juice, but not even at or below the level of the holes. the crackling sounds like juice being zapped and the spittling of the juice is bothersome, as its making the impossibly unnavigable trek up the carto, up through my drip tip, to my lips.

its odd...i don't think its dead or dying cause it still HITS LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN (lmao, sorry) producing great vapor and still tastes ok...
adding more juice doesn't help. the cartos have only been a day or two old when it happens...

any ideas?

edited to add: i don't think its flooded, at least not in the traditional sense, as it doesn't make that "that sound"...and blowing on it produces no juice...

Is this a darker juice? I get that from darker juice. Take a thin straight piece of wire(paperclip or such) and CAREFULLY run it through the center tube. If you feel resistance don't force it, could rip the center tube. Once through and poking out the other side, spin the carto so the paperclip scrapes the inside of the coil. Take paperclip out, should have some gunk on it. Might help.

What brand of cartos are you using? What is the resistance, are they single coil or dual and what is your power level set at? I have run into a similar problem and have been working to figure it out.

i actually tried that before posting to no avail. didn't notice any gunk on the paperclip either.

they've been high resistance single coil boge XL (3ohm i believe, maybe 2.5) running anywhere between 4.5 and 5.2. the juice is medium in color. i've found running any higher burns my juice.
