Ok I have to say I have never used a syringe.

So I ordered a syringe, and an eGo cart ... wanting to see what it was like. First off I got a sharp needle and ended up stabbing myself getting the top off. Blood everywhere.

Then ... I couldn't fill up the syringe with liquid. I just couldn't get it to work. My fiance finally took it from me, filled up the syringe from the back end and got the carto filled. It's working great now but I guess I need to know what kind of syringe is best, and how to use the thing. So embarrassed.

e-juice is typically very thick. Even water isn't easy to fill into a syringe, but you must be patient. It will fill, although very slowly.
I personally just pop the end cap off cartos and drip down the side to fill them. You can also use the "Condom Method" for filling. That is where you fill the rubber cover caps tht come on the cartos to fill them. You can fill the cap about half full, slowly press the battery conection end of the carto into the rubber cap and allow it to soak in. A carto will hold about 20 to 25 drops, depending on how empty it is.
If you use the condom method, make sure to blow out the excess juice after it has sat a while to soak in. Otherwise, you get a mouth full of juice. :)

Glad I'm not alone!

Once the carto is filled, it's working great. I think I may stick with cartos completely. Cartos for my all day vapes, and my LR atty and drip tip for times when I'd like variation in flavor while just sitting and chilling out.

As long as this continues to work this well, I don't see the need for a regular atty and carts anymore. (?)

With the Genuine Joye cartos, I use a bent paper clip to pop out the two plastic mouth pieces. On a new carto, I use a 22 guage sharp needle to punture the tough plastic membrane in the center hole.

Then I switch to an 18 guage blunt needle to fill the carto. It draws up the juice much quicker than the 22ga sharp and I don't have to worry about stabbing myself with it. The 18 gauge blunt just sits on top of the fill port and does not actually go into the carto filler.

Be sure to let the newly filled carto sit for 15 minutes or so to allow the juice to distribute and reach the heating coil. Otherwise you will dry burn it and get that nasty burnt electrical taste. That is permanent. Just toss it and get a new one.
