so I've been poking around tryin to find out how the naming convention works. XL, mega, XXXL etc. Hoping there was some sort of method to the madness. Seems there isnt... I'm tryin to figure out what cartos are in what lengths without having to order a pack of every different vendor/brand and measure them.

Are there standard lengths and widths? Is there a way to read the 'name' and know which category it actually falls in?

I'm not sure Im clear on your question but Ill jump in anyways. Forgive me if I'm not helpful.......
The length of the Carto shouldn't be a concern...The threading is what determines which units or PV's it will work on. The most standard and regulary used (I believe) is a 510 threading. If your PV is 510 threaded any cartomizer should work. The "mega, XL and xxxl" will be 510-808-901 etc.....

Which PV and threading do you have?

The only part you have to worry about is thread size 510,& 306 same,808 & 901 same,801 thats the main ones. The length goes from standard to xxxl meaning more juice capacity.Ego is a 510 threading but adaptor needed to fit alot of other types of pv's because it has a smal like skirt on the screw on part of carto.

Are you both looking for something that will fit on your battery or be compatable with your battery or something that will hold the most juice?

I am looking for a 510 device that lookes nice on my new epipesmod pipe. It means it should be much longer than the ce2 carto and be thick like a ego-b.

I'm working on a mod design and the carto dimensions are important. I was hoping there was a standard so I could build the mod to accomodate most of the "popular" cartos. I know about the threading and juice capacity :) Thank you guys for the responses so far, I should have been more clear in my original post.
