Was out in the boat and my carto coil popped first thing. All I had with me was a CE4+ that had cracked without me knowing it or even using it for that matter and started dripping juice down the outside of my battery, and me. I was about to toss the whole works into the bay and started looking around the boat for a solution. Took the tank off of my popped vision deux 3.5 and the cracked tank off of the nearly new ce4+. They are not interchangeable. The ce4+ slug is larger than the vision deux. Happened to be a deep well socket that had about a 1/2" outside diameter. Heated the vision deux tube with a bic lighter, which is not a hard plastic and forced the socket in about a 1/2", expanding the deux tube. Inserted the ce4+ innard which was slightly loose, heated the tube up again with the lighter, making a tighter fit.
Ok, so I had to tip it a little here and there, but it worked so well I am still using it and it's rolling out the fog.
