What is the generally accepted best ohms/volts combo? And, yes it sounds dumb but, how do you check the ohms on carts you have? I've got a multimeter and I tried the positive probe on the center post and negative on the threads on my litecig 808d's. I'm showing 4.5-5 ohms depending on how wiggly the connection is. That doesn't seem right to me.

The reason for the question is that I have smoketip 3.7 batts on the way (great warranty service btw) and a passthru that pulls 5v. I also have a roughstack maxi inbound that can go from 3.7 all the way to six volt based on battery combination. I'd really like a one size fits all cart. But electronics in general isn't my strong suit so i figure I must be testing the carts wrong or something.

hey mr phil

sorry, dont know the answer, but was wondering the same thing today, will check back when some of the gurus chime in, lol

just wanted to let you know, i use the dual coils and they have been working great for me

my home made mod starts out at 5.3v and after a couple of days, down to 4.2v

they are supposed to be able to cover the whole range up to 6v

i cant check mine at 6v, for some reason they dont agree with my copper mod with 2-3v batts

hang tight, i am sure help is on the way, lol

Katya you are the bomb. And you're cute too. My wife says I have an eye for birds
Seriously I browsed all over the forums and never stumbled on the thread.

So, with a sincere heart and the voice of Elvis....... "Thank you, Thank you very much"

Edit: I forgot to subtract my own leads resistance from the meter reading ::doh . Otherwise I was right all along. So, I'm pulling about 2.8 - 3.2 ohms depending on the wiggle factor. Thanks again.
