I have a few carto tanks and several cartomizers from the same manufactuer. Various ohms and some single coil, some dual. What I am noticing is that certain liquids that are acidic are leeching from the black wire inside the carto and turning the liquid dark.
I have noticed at times it can happen in just 4 to 6 hours from a fresh fill and new carto.
But not all liquids have this effect. Only acidic fruit type liquids are doing this. I dont think its a specific flavor, but maybe an additive in the liquid such as malic acid.
Im going to take apart a new carto tonight and place the black wire in a small bottle of liquid and see what happens. Has anyone else noticed this or experimented with the wire insulation and how it reacts with liquids?
Edit: Also I wanted to mention the same liquid in a wireless carto does not produce the problem.
