I am just getting into the carto tank world. Have been using Protanks or Vivi since I started. I was curious if there was anything that has a screw on cap for filling. Basically the top cap screws off and you can just fill it from there? I prefer pyrex as I vape many citrus flavors. I am a bit hesitant with the filling aspect of carto tanks and this would keep me in my comfort zone. Thanks all.

Welcome to the carto world, it's the place to be and I 3rd the IBTanked recommendations. I like your idea and haven't seen one like that but like steve said screwing onto glass wouldn't work well.

Maybe someone could fuse a stainless threaded strip around the top of the glass tank that a cap could be screwed on to. Leave the bottom the normal plug and seal design.

Edit:

There are also carto tanks with top fill holes like this one.

The tank posted above looks pretty good, but haven't I read complaints about some of the fill-port tanks not sealing well and not allowing the right vacuum in the tank and hindering the feed to the carto?

I like the idea of this, but I find the slap-yo-momma tool and a blunt syringe (or even a small dropper bottle) is just as convenient and universal to any carto tank. The SLYM is about the most useful vaping widget I've bought.

I agree...I've heard WAY more complaints about this style of tank as well. And I agree that using a tank tool like a SLYM makes filling a breeze.

Tanks with the top fill hole often have issues with keeping the proper negative pressure inside the tank and this results in flooding issues. I'd avoid those.

I'll agree with the others that you can't really beat an IBTanked for a quality tank at an affordable cost. The key is having a good cartotank tool like the Slap Yo Moma from Big Daddy Vapor.

Having said that, there are cartotanks which are designed with a press fit top like the Bella tanks from Hoosier Vapes. The top cap and mouthpiece are one-piece and twist off the tube for e-liquid filling. Default tubes are polycarbonate plastic, but the vendor sells replacement glass tubes onsite.

Pretty tanks, but I'm not really a fan of these tanks. Word is the vendor is not approved by ECF.
