The evolution tanks from Hoosier Vapes are of an acrylic material; top endcap and mouthpiece are one piece and unscrew to fill. The shorter Bella tanks take a standard size carto. The longer Elegance tank takes an XL carto. These tanks come with a polycarbonate-type tube.

I matched a Phiniac pyrex clear XL tube with my Elegance tank endcaps. I had them custom color sandblast a design. (see above pics)

If you went this route, you'd probably want the clear regular Phiniac tube for your Boge cartos. All the clear tubes are the same diameter, differing only in tube length. Note that the colored Phiniac tubes are of a wider diameter and WILL NOT FIT the evolution line of tanks.

Edit: For whatever reason, I can't get the link to work here. Just google "Hoosier Vapes" and you can find them.

Thanks for the heads up!

Went to Hoosiers site, and love the Elegance (Transparent) tanks. However, these seem to work like the LavaTank, where you simply pry the top cap off.

I had seen a tank that had screw on top and bottom caps. In fact, the carto would screw into the bottom cap, which had a 510 adaptor, which then was attached to your device, so (I would assume) there was no chance for any leaking, as the bottom cap was completely sealed, and the carto would simply attach from the inside to the bottom cap (if that makes sense!)

To try and be more clear, the bottom cap was actually a 510 adaptor, the carto screws into the bottom cap from above, the tube is slipped over the bottom cap and then screwed into place with a 510 connector, permanantly attached to the bottom cap, then attached to your device.

Saw it, they only had white end caps, which I wasn't that thrilled with (preferred the black endcaps, which were out of stock), now I can't find the website anymore!

May get one of the Elegance tanks, but I don't believe the end caps screw in, which, it seems to me, would make refilling a bit easier.

Thanks!

I've not seen the tank that you described, and am still trying to figure out in my mind how it would work.

I'm pretty sure that you know the difference, but allow me to ask just the same. You are not talking about the twist top Vivi Nova tanks, are you? They have threads in the tubing and endcap to allow easy screw off and fill. Likely you are not talking about them as they don't use a cartomizer, but more along the lines of a clearomizer with wick cords leading up to the atomizer head.

The top endcap of the evolution tanks don't specifically "pry" off, a twisting while pulling motion is used. But no, they do not have threads.

I'd love to find something like the Vivi Nova tanks, but nicer looking, and that use cartos! Guess that's what I'm looking for, and I guess nobody currently makes something like that.

Not a big deal, just figure it'd be easier to simply unscrew a top cap then have to pry it off carefully, while the tank is partially filled with juice!

I've never seen a glass tank with end caps you can screw off and on. I don't think they make them because it would be difficult to put the threading on the glass part. They do make the actv3 tanks, but they aren't made of glass.

ACTv3S (Arry Carto Tank with Sleeve) - $49.99 : Stormys Vapor Cellar, Electronic Cigarettes & More

I have 5 tanks like Bad has, where you have the glass Phiniac tanks with the Evolution end caps. I've yet to have any diffuculty getting the top end cap off without spilling anything. The end cap seems to be the perfect fit, where there isn't any leaking, yet easy to take off and refill. The perfect combo for a carto/tank IMHO.

I also have a couple of ACTV4 tanks from stormyvapecellar. They are the all stainless steel tanks with screw on end caps. They discontinued making those. I found I had to get a pair of pliers to get the end cap off for refilling...so they sit in the drawer these days.:(

Thanks for your feedback!

Guess I can stop drooling for an Act tank, and perhaps pick up one of the Elegance tanks! Man, those Elegance (Transparent) tanks look sweet!
