I don't have my reo YET in my possession. It will be here Tuesday. So, this is all new to me. My first one btw. I've seen some photos and people use cartos on them and some with rda's on them. What does everyone prefer? I'm trying to get all my "stuff" ordered before it gets here and just wondering if cartos are pretty good on them and worth putting in an order for? Thanks!

Absolutely no comparison between the two - a carto is muted, the RM2 is in your face flavor! I do have a couple of cartos for backup, but they're disappointing after an RM2.

^^^ This... It may take a day or two to find the right coil, and placement but once you do... Vaping Nirvana

The flavor from an RM2 is literally so intense that I've started trimming my wicks as short as possible in an attempt to lessen the flavor. There is such a thing as too much flavor.

Not sure yet how people get those big velvety clouds. Mine are generally pretty thin.

Hey! You're speaking English today!
Just don't ask him a tech question, you'll get him going again.

We hope you're happy w/it, everyone's best Vape is quite subjective, my better half is a carto guy & they make him happy. He has tried most Gear on the market & prefers the warmth he says only a good Cartomizer can provide - his problem here in P.B.C is that no one really/comparatively bothers selling them anymore (well there's a few shops we haven't been in yet/i mean overall, technology has moved forward) except punched ones for Tank Systems here & there. New isn't always better for everyone & all have hugely varying personal preferences one does sell them, hubby stocks up there & a GREAT excuse to pop in for a visit - we are LUCKY to have AWESOME POSSUM Vendors in our area these days/finally/becoming spoiled, LOL :2c: :2cool:

Ive not tried the reo, nor and rba. carto tank is all I use now (did use kanger pt and mini pt) Im intrigued with the reo tho. and intrigued with using the rm2. plenty of you tube vids for learning technics. One main question comes to mind as far as the juice holder inside the reo, will certain ejuice types wreck it? Like cinnomen, or citrus ?

The bottle for juice inside the REO, and the tubing stand up well for most juices. Some juices like cinnamon, will most likely cause the tubing to swell over time. It is easy to replace. Also the o-ring inside the cap for the bottle will swell with some stronger juices. It is also easy to replace.

One thing with strong flavors is the tendency for the plastic parts to retain flavor or smell. Some juices can be tough to remove evidence of use. Using a dedicated tube, bottle and cap for those juices is a good idea.

OK, thanks for that. I can easily avoid those ejuice in the reo, and keep them only in my catro tank w/provari. Another question came up watching a couple video reviews of the RM2. These two said they drilled out the air hole to make it bigger. I have no Idea if I will need to do this until I use it, but what size drill bit would it take?

That really depends on what resistance you vape at. The lower the resistance the more air flow you need to keep the coil cool. With the RM2 I just built the coil that I liked then took a pocket knife and spun it around the air hole, taking drags along the way, till I reached my preferred draw. Some people like more airy draws some people prefer to have some resistance, its all personal preference. 1/16th is pretty common for coils around 1ohm.
