Carto works on one but not the other

So I just got my new blank 510 cartos from goodejuice . I filled em' up and got ready to vape! My first 510 batt I threw them on... no go! So I grabbed the same exact batt but my backup.. sure thing it fired up. Any reason why that could be?

Same batterys but one dosent fire? maybe 1 is running low? try and charge it? just guessin

It might not be making a good connection on the first battery. Try cleaning the end of the battery with some isopropyl or rubbing alcohol.

Take a paper clip or tiny precision screwdriver and stick it in the hole of the carto. Don't go too deep. Now lift straight upwards on it. Try it on your batteries. It's not making good contact and usually this will cure it.

Through which end? and lift toward what end?

Sorry I guess I should have said. Go through the bottom hole (airhole) on the threaded end. You want to lift up on the center post.
