I havent tried this method yet, but my friend swears by it. His method is to boil the carts for 15 min then dry them by putting them in the oven for 45 min. Has anyone else tried this?

I can't bring myself to go through the hassle of cleaning cartos. Bought in bulk they shouldn't cost more than a dollar a piece and last for at least a week.
$4 a month for cartos seems like a great deal to me.

That is the way I clean mine. If my cartos had strong flavored juice in them I change the water a few times when boiling until I cant smell the flavor anymore.
The problem with cleaning them (beside the fact that they're really hard to dry completely) is if they don't work you waste a bunch of juice filling a dead carto.

Cleaning a carto is equivalent of re-using coffee filters.
Just throw them away and use a new one. Cartos aren't meant to last forever.
Thats what Im sayin...there is no real point to cleaning them. They last a week, and if they are dead...cleaning them wont do anything.

I understand they are cheap, but if i wanna try a different juice cleaning them out would be a nice option..
Good luck getting every last bit of juice out of a carto without killing it.

You could try the reverse taryn spin to get as much juice as possible out. I have never tried it so I can't say if it works or not, but some people rinse with PGA or vodka to help it dry out faster.

You could get an adaptor and get a 510 atomizer.

I ran an ego mega dual coil carto through my front load washer.
I do it deliberately now. When the flavor starts to get off, I vape till the flavor gets hot, and wash it with a load of clothes. I use very little detergent with this machine anyway, and I use unscented. Before putting the clothes in the dryer, I fish out my cartos and leave them to air dry for a few days.
I've never tried this with the little cartos. They are so cheap I just toss them.

If you want to change flavors in a carto and are concerned about the old flavor, you could vape some plain unflavored nic juice in it until all, or most, of the old flavor is gone. I quite like the taste of unflavored 80/20 nic juice.
So if you have a batch of cartos that taste instantly burnt as if some one in the mail room vapped them all dry then packaged them up and mailed them to you is there any way of salvageing them? As they are not returnable and cost between 10 and 12 bucks? This will end up costing more than analogs if it happens much and there is no way to clean them out not to mention the juice that is getting wasted.
