Im very interested in what youve said about i30s version... Does it vape like a carto a little? A lot? Or is it clearly (no pun intended, lol) a clearomizer? I recently got the boge f16 and love love love it. FLAVOR BABY! Tastes great!!! Easy to use! (and am coming from trying every clearo out there iclear series being the exception). However, I will be tryibg them soon-bday is Monday and itaste v3 and mvp2 & iclear clearos are whats in my bday bags :) lol cant wait!!!
In the personal experience within my house, my wife (who takes deep and straight to the lung draws) was able to flood any carto-tank that I put in front of her. The XXXL and Mega cartos? Not so much, but it was a matter of not oversaturating the polyfill so that her draw-method didn't have excess liquid to pull from the fill into the coil-space.

The workaround/solution (for her) was to go to a dual-top-coil clearomizer (the iClear 30S, emphasis on the S-variant). So far, no matter how deeply she draws, the design and wicking method prevent her from getting any gurgling or flooding. She likes the pivoting head, but wasn't a fan of metal (tends to hit her teeth and the reaction was not pleasant, almost like a visit to the dentist) so we stretched one of the rubber tips from those old Mega cartos over that tip and while it looks a little odd, it "works for her".

Additionally, I can treat the cartridges just like my cartos when it comes to cleaning and recycling them.

I mean that I take 3-4 good hits and it then is completely flooded. if I even attempt to take another drag it just gurgles and spits juice into my mouth. if I let it sit upright for a few minutes the carto will kind of "drain" I guess you could say and let some liquid back into the tank.

Well I dont know cartos, and until now it hadnt occured to me that 'flooding' was a problem with cartos;

but it sounds to me like you have a tight draw; and the vacuum when you attempt to use it is sucking liquid into the carto; then if you let it sit, the liquid can drain out of the carto and back into the tank.

so maybe what you need is more airflow.

alternative: maybe punch small hole near top of carto; will change the pressure situation

I'm using smok cartomizers.. tried both single punch and triple punched ones. I am actually using the cartomizer by itself right now to see if it still hits well and it does. Must be a tank pressure issue, I'm going to go with a IBtanked and see what happens

yep, tank pressure issue

I'm using Ikenvape XL Fusion Punch 2 hole cartos on an IBTanked 19mm. Had a carto work fabulously for the 1st day. Next morning FLOOD. Swapped the carto. It worked for a few hits then 15 min later, dry burnt hits. Did some priming puffs then FLOOD.
On my 3rd carto now, only 2 left. Using 80/20 Tribeca from Halo.

I use the centrifugal method of priming the cart from the top. It worked the first time for the first day. Very strange this flooding issue. Airflow is very good, very airy, no restriction.
