Cartomizer gets too hot

Cartomizer gets too hot when I do slow vape (3-4 second inhaling). Is this a problem or it is normal with kr808d-1 cartomizers?

Cartomisers can get pretty hot. Are you using a drip tip with them as that will help a lot so you don't get burnt lips Also make sure you keep them well topped up with e-liquid

An e-liquid with a higher VG content will give you more vapour. Which e-liquid are you currently using?

Yes, it happens with KR808 cartomizers and with all cartomizers to some extent.

Do you use a drip tip? You really must look into using one (pop off the white mouthpiece and replace with a drip tip).

Glycerin high juice will give more vapor with less throat hit and less flavor. To get more vapor and stronger hit, you'll need to increase the power output. To do so, unfortunately, you need a larger battery that can use lower resistance cartomizers or use a variable / higher voltage device.

Mine get really hot... You can tell how hot it gets when your using a tank. The outside shell will get warm... Just think how hot the carto is at that point.

Yeah, my SS Boge 3.0 Ohm at 4.7V is hot enough I can't touch it after chain vaping. That's why I don't touch it,

An LR Boge gets even hotter

You can try cutting a small hole in the top of a cart "condom"(the rubber cover that comes with the carto) and slip it over the mouth end of the carto. This will help to insulate your mouth from the heat untill you get some drip tips.

and which one give more throat hit? in my cartomizer it is PG. Also I do not have drip tip.

You need to buy a different setup to get more voltage.

I've never owned/tried a kr808 so I have no idea what you might be able to do to it.
