Back when we first settled on cartomizer tanks The Mrs always ran hers real low around 3.5V or so and mine was 4.2 to 4.5V and now I am settled in around 4.0 and she is up to 4.5V so who knows?
I do know pushing up above that range is where we start to see cartomizers failing more often. Of course the longevity of a cartomizer I believe is more in the liquid than the heat provided it isnt extremely high, dark sugary vapes gunk the coils and there is just no two ways about it if you plan to vape those flavors then you are either looking at changing the cartomizer more frequently.
