Cartomizer Newb, Need Assistance...

But until then...

Thinking of getting a Liquinator and I noticed you need to use a cartomizer with it.

Now the questions arise...

-What do you do when you first get the cartomizer, i.e. how many drops should I put into the top of the cartomizer?

-Do I have to top it off every once in a while or does the tank system keep it wet? (I ask because I read that you need to keep them wet by dripping them once in a while..)

-How do I maintain a cartomizer to last as long as possible?

Assuming you know you have to put a hole in it.

With a new carto: punch the carto, put it in the tank, fill the tank, then top off the carto. I just do it that way. Hubby also uses a tank and doesn't top his off, but has to wait 30 minutes or so for the liquid to go into the hole and wet the carto completely. I haven't the patience for that.

When chain-vaping with the tank every so often (I dunno, about every 10th hit, I'd guess) I take 2 or 3 "dry draws" long, hard draws without hitting the button; to suck some of the liquid into the carto from the tank. No topping off that way. I guess you could top it off if you want to, but that kinda defeats the purpose of a tank.

I don't do any maintenance on the cartos in my tank. Just use them till they die. Sometimes its a day, sometimes its 5 days. Depends a lot on different liquids I use.

A fusion is a cartomizer witha 801 connection. I just slot my carto,put it in the tank,fill the tank with juice,put the top cap and drip tip back on and just vape til it's empty.
