Boge cartomizer dumb question

Okay, I received Boge cartomizers for my Joye Ego (510 cartomizers). My dumb question is that there is a little white plastic thing on top with a hole in it that you remove to put the juice in. Do you replace this little white thing and suck through it?? I thought maybe i needed a drip tip so i was reading about those and they said that the drip tip replaces the cartridge. So now im confused. What do i use for a mouthpiece and if i use a drip tip then do i have to take out the cartridge and just drip right onto the atty part or can you not do that on a cartomizer?? arghh!

Yes, you remove the white plastic insert to fill .. at least I do .. a drip tip replaces the white insert and looks kinda like a cigarette holder .. it also makes it easier to remove and fill .. plenty of info on the Forum regarding filling methods as well ..

So you can use a drip tip just on top of the cartomizer and leave the stuffing in there and just drip into the stuffing?

What Uncle said. You drip your juice of choice on the white filler material inside the carto after removing that little white rubber cap. You can either replace the cap or use a drip tip that will fit instead of the little cap. Just make sure not to drip down the small center tube, that's the air tube, or it will flood and gurgle. Boge's are great and will last quite a while.

...remeber to fill carto completely before vaping...about 20+ drops and keep it damp...as soon as taste gets off or dry, top it up by dripping down inside of barrel until slushy looking...give a little blow thru the barrel end into a tissue and wipe threads...connect to batt and vape...........

I am using 100% VG juice. It so thick that when i drip it on to the top of the filler it just sits there. Any techniques anyone can suggest?

Nevermind, i just saw some videos on the syringe or condom technique!

papajohn, you can thin the VG with just a very little distilled water, some PGA or vodka...just a few drops per ml will go a long way and will help with wicking problems.............

I've found using AVE VG juices is the first fill really wont soak in by dripping. I use the condom on a fresh carto, and let soak a few minutes. After its not "virgin" filler anymore, it soaks in a lot easier on the drip.
