I have been seeing all of these clear-o-mizers lately with a double wick and some say the wick is thicker than it used to be....and on and on. My question is to those people who have bought these clearomizers. Are these carts just a gimmick of looking cool on your PV :vapor: or do they actually deliver a satisfactory vaping experience :toast:? Do you think they're a better vape than a Boge 510 cartomizer and if so, why?

The metal ones are usable. Not my favorite, but they are OK. To each their one...

The clear ones suck, totally. Save your money. They are a gimmick. It was a nice idea, but I wish I had passed.

In my experience, the wicking is just not up to snuff. The first vape taste great, then they struggle. I've tried all the mods. Seriously, I need to mod a cartomizer? This has been without success. Fail.

Hard to beat the Boge's.

I am liking the Ikenvape 801 Fusions and the dual-coil versions from various vendors. Long life on both these two. But the Boge 510 will always be a great "fall back".

The clearomizers aren't called failomizers for no reason.

I like the clear CE2 cartos. Anytime you have thin plastic exposed to a variety of chemicals and put under stress, there are going to be problems (cracking, coming loose from the base, etc.).

In my experience, those are minimal compared to the advantages.

I use 100%VG (well, it's maybe 85% VG, 15% flavoring), and when I'm at my computer I can go through a full carto in less than an hour. I've never had any problem with wicking -- it's always wet and ready.

I can't imagine how heavy you'd have to draw on one to outrun the wick.

Boge? In my experience -- expensive, tastes of wadding, burns so easily it's nearly impossible to get more than two or three refills before it tastes charred.

i love the clearo's xl, i prefer the old version better. the tube on the new revision i slightly smaller and harder so they split and crack easy and very early, but add a drop of super glue to the bottom of the outside of the tube and it fixes that. however the metal is a better choice i think. i also do not care for the boge's at all. if im going to use a cartomizer it is the dual coil or a smok tech 2.0 ohm. but everyone prefers something different, there is really no right or wrong way to answer your question.

The XL clearomizer is my number one carto for now. I like it because it holds more liquid that a Boge, and you can always see how much juice is left in it, and lasts longer before you refill, you can take them apart and clean them, and do a dry burn on the coil and it is like new again. I have very good luck with my clearomizers with better taste and more vapor, and if you do have a problem like cracking you can save the guts and throw away the clear sleeve and reuse it if you burnout a coil on another on. I think they are the best value for your money. Have not had much luck cleaning ANY other type of cartomizers. I do still use regular cartomizers but they are my number 2 choice.

The consensus seems to be that the dual coil metal cartomizer is the favored version of the relatively new Cartmizer style. I can accept your opinions and it's OK, but I have a new question about the dual wick cartomizer. Do you guys/gals use the syringe to refill it? I don't like the idea of using a syringe to refill a cart, so tell me about your experience of refilling a dual wick cartomizer without a syringe. I'm unaware if the dual wick metal version cartomizer has "stuffing"....does it? If it does have stuffing can't I just refill it the same way I do all other cartomizers....using the condom nipple the cartomizer is equipped with? Thank you in advance for taking time to answer my questions =D And say....tazboyvt----what are you doing trying to hijack my thread?? Send wyojoe a PM man, it's rude to hijack someone's thread without even so much as an apology before the rest of your post.
