Some more questions re: Carto Tanks and an Adapter

Looking at DCT setups and wondering if I could just use XL cartos and punch them myself rather than buying the ones with the flange on the bottom. I've seen a fitting with a tank-not-slider-backer thing. So, that's the first question.

The second: Has anyone heard of or seen or used the Sam-o-mizer? Inexpensive...hoping it's not cheap because I like the look. Last question: Does anyone make a long, and I mean maybe 2 inch, 510 to 510 adapter? I'm thinking of making a sonic screwdriver.

Yes although I now use clearos when I was using a tank/ carto system punched my own cartos with nail and hammer. You could also buy a 1/4" saddle valve from Lowes- good for about 50 holes. I vape 60/ 40 PG/ VG and the one hole I punched was 2.5 mm wide. Remember to fully saturate the carto before placing in tank.

Have seen it but don't know much about it. Couldn't find any reviews either. Also replacement cartos are $1.99 each so in the long run may not be much of a savings IMO.

Not that I've heard of but you could buy a number of adapters of connect them.

Don't know about your first 2questions. I know madvapes has a 510 to 510. Use it with my tank. Good luck

Madvapes extension is 1"...now my concern is will I be adding too much resistance with this. Sorry, I'm not really up on the electronics stuff.

I started thinking it might be easier to just attach a tube to a carto to get my length...but I was hoping to be able to have a tank, maybe a clearo with a light. (This project is starting to sound a little doofy at this point.)
