Cartomizer question

I received my new mako today, along with a couple 510 attys, and some 510 cartomizers. I am loving the cartomizers, but whenever I'm using them they occasionally make a little popping noise. Does anyone know if this is normal? I'm liking them aside from that, but the popping noise is kind of freaking me out. Would I be better off just pulling out the filler and dripping in around the tube like some people have been trying lately?

I'm really enjoying them, and after 2 months of dipping with a 401 it's a nice change of pace to be able to vape without concern for more than 10 minutes, but the popping is really freaking me out.

I just got my cartos today and LOVE THEM! I know, I said that about dripping last week but I really love the cartos!! I feel a warm vape (that's not juice burning my tongue) and I haven't completely emptied one yet tonight..............still keep the juice close tho. I recommend cartos to everyone!

Great. All good news. I can't believe how much more flavor and vapor I'm getting off this mako compared to my m401. It's ridiculous. Though the th feels a tiny bit weaker. This thing is a monster.
