I am currently filling carts for the 510 and I don't think it is that big of a deal, as everything I need for work fits in the PCC. The thing that interests me about filling blank cartomizers is keeping flavors separate. Currently if I swap flavors there is some carry over because some of the flavor stays on the atty (even if I blow it). Now it isn't that big of a deal for some flavors, as they complement each other. But some of the flavors do not really complement each other and I would actually like to taste apple w/o kona flavor :p

My husband is currently using cartomizers from vapor king, he bought an adapter so that it fits on the 510 battery. I have also seen a few posts where people buy adapters and some posts were people just buy 510 cartomizers.

I am wondering if there is any difference between the two sizes - quality, flavor, amount of juice it holds, vapor production, life span or anything else that I can't think of at the moment. I would really prefer to not have to use an adapter but if there is a significant difference between the two I will probably just buy the adapter and hope that the thing doesn't fly out of my hands and land somewhere that I can't reach :p If there is no real difference, I am looking at the 510 cartomizers from LitecigUSA unless anyone can suggest another place to buy them? Is there a difference in quality from different vendors?

Yes, easy to refill carts & snap off/on change.
Something to consider is you need spare attys which should be kept wet ...
Have you tried the cartomizers & he tried the carts?
I am not impressed w/ the cartomizers.

...another question to add... what is the difference in the mega cartomizer and just a regular one (besides the mega holds more liquid)? Will they both fit on a 510 and an Ego?

Thanks!

The mega cartos I got fit fine on my eGo, BUT the ones I got at least have a higher resistance on the atomizer in them and it was advertised as having a cooler vapor, but the truth is they just suck on a 510. You have to suck your brains out to get any decent vapor production. I should have known, but the vendor recommended them over the regular cartos. I would stick to using the mega's on a device that puts out higher voltage than a typical 510.

He has tried the carts. He doesn't seem to mind them when I fill them up for him :glare: I did try the cartomizers he has. I filled up one of the ones he emptied. I thought that it does not draw as easy as the carts, but it is also not a 510 cartomizer.

Thank you Buzzy for pointing me to the "cartomizers reviewed" thread, that was very helpful. Thank you Ricky59 for answering that question. I was also a little confused about the megas.

I think I am going to go ahead and purchase some of the 510 cartomizers. If I don't like them as much as I like carts I will just use them for some of the more corrosive juices (like clove - which I really would like to try).
