Those look downright dangerous! LOL. That's a really cheap price. I have a dentist's pick (for cleaning teeth..??) that I use for lots of things. One of the most fun aspects of this new hobby (for me, anyway) has been finding cool stuff that will work for this. For instance, cell phone cases for e-cig cases, tiny screwdrivers (for eye glasses) work, certain plastic bottles with the right kind of lid, etc.)

I know it is real easy to take apart a cartomizer, but I like tools and I think this is very nice to have for the price. I already had this kit in my garage. I went out to buy a new (clean) set to have with all my other PV stuff. I just thought I would share this info, this is a very cheap option.

4 Piece Pick and Hook Set

That looks like it'd be great for tanks and wicks.

Every store you go in turns into a vaping supply store!

Ha! That's soooo true! I can spend hours in the Dollar Tree store just checking out tweezers and Q-tips. I look at everything now with vaping in mind. It's amazing what you can find! I think that's the best part of being in on the "ground floor" of a new technology. I imagine in 10 years there will be "kits" designed just for vapors and it just won't be the same....

Hopefully ya'll go to your dentist at least once a year. Just ask for any of their 'damaged' cleaning tools. I've done this for years for soldering, modelling, weapons and general purpose tools. I've received many surgical steel tools and even modified some for special purposes.

I would think that going in 'baccy-free would gain ya some extra points (assuming ya have a caring dentist). I'm due for a semiannual cleaning in June and can't wait to let my dentist and tech know that I'm FREE! (38 days)

Just to go a step forward (I'll ask next month), ya might be able to get sample denture cleaner or mouth wash for cleaning your equipment just by asking. :2cool:

another cool little tool is another one of those hobby store pick ups...such as michaels or hobby lobby and that's this: Deprecated Browser Error

the hook has a removable plastic cover (so you don't poke yourself and get hurt!) and works great for taking apart clearo's or carto's and the yarn needle is plastic and blunt so it's also useful in place of a toothpick, the juice doesn't stick to it like it does wood and they're easily cleanable without wasting juice that soaks into a toothpick or gets everywhere and scratches everything when using a bent paperclip!

as for using Dollar Tree as a place to find supplies...LOL!! I bought a bunch of simple vinyl make up bags to keep my juices sorted in my case from there...they work perfect!

I spent the Big Bucks and bought this set...

6 Piece Pick Set

The second from the top is perfect for thoses pesky Carto seals. Just need to dull the point on the pick a bit.

The third from the top is great for fluffy up wicks or jabbing filler material.

I couldn't find a picture, but there are these reusable tooth pick that have bristles on them and have a clear cap to put on. They come in a 4 pack in the dental area at Dollar Tree. I use these to clean any gunk out of the center of my cartos. I've noticed that sometimes it looks like the juice has started to burn and gunk up in the center of the tube, I just take one of these and run it through both ends and clear it out. Don't spin it though, otherwise you will pull the filler into the tube and have little strands of fuzz in the middle of it!
