cartomizer/vcore2 and flavor question

Hi still new to vaping, been 2-3 weeks only..

Im currently using cartomizer,
when using cartomizer, sometimes smell like the sponge thing inside i think.. but it's much smoother when i vape, no bad feeling at throat.
when using my vcore2 theres this rough feeling at throat..

is all cartomizer like this does anyone know?

feel like using cartomizer permanently because theres this rough/bad feeling at throat when using my vcore2... how do i get rid of it?

anyway i tested some other flavour with different cleoro and somehow the taste is much better.. is it because if there's no nicotine, can taste flavour better? or because of different cleoro? i forgot to ask the guy.

If there's 0 nic, the rough feeling is caused by dry hits.
Throat hit is entirely different and should feel shiok, but some people differ.
Nicotine and taste is only very slightly related in my opinion. Nic may numb your tongue, hence decreased flavor. But it shouldn't be very noticeable.

Secondly,when trying to nail the problem, change one variable at a time, not both. Either different juice on same delivery system, or same juice on different delivery system.

It's 6mg nic, another different brand tastes better, maybe it's because of the brand..? still got the dry feeling at throat though..except this brand im using lesser dry feeling at throat..6mg also. and im back to using vcore2 because of the spongey smell.

Never use cartos so can't comment much.
With my clears n new mods sometime got to have a " break in period " due to the manufacture grease / oil on wick /parts . I mite be wrong so maybe the older birds can advise ,
Just my 2 cents.

I'm using carto once in a while for my k100.. less flavor taste as said by kimochi-ii but better flavor production compared to clearo..
maybe u need to change the head or recoil your vcore due to the bad throat hit
