Just started vaping last Wed. and I own a joye 510.I enjoy vaping and smoked only one analog due to my battery dying out but have been doing great since.I came across a vaporking demo on youtube and I was blown away with how easy it was to own one.Just put fresh cart with atty. and vape away. But I started to wonder what is the cost effectiveness on having a cartomizer compared to filling your own.I know thru the website where you can buy the vaporking a 5 pack is $12.50 and last for approx 60 analog cigs.Well with a 3 ml bottle of sample jucie that came with my joye 510 i can fill 5 PTB modded 510 carts and i can blow thru a cart in about 2 hours if that. And 10 ml of juice can go for $12.00 so for approx $3.60 per 5 filled carts.Sorry for the long post but to all of the owners of both styles of e cigs(cartomizers vs filling your own)which is the best and cost effictive way to go?

Thanks for reading,

Haave never owned a 510, but you can still refill cartomizers at least 3 or 4 times without trouble on a VK / KR808D style e-cig. I'm in love w/ mine and I'd say my wife and I use a 5 pack every 1.5 weeks between the both of us. We refill each cartomizer between 5 - 8 times. Basically until it starts to have that hint of a burnt taste then we toss them. So way cool stuff. My only concern is the upcoming possible ban. :(

Take care,

i just started using ecig and I too have a 510. I bought a 10ml bottle of 24mg for $10.00. and 5 empty carts came with my starter kit. So far Ive filled all 5 carts twice and only used about a 1/3 of the bottle. That said you should get 30 fills out of a 10ml bottle.

You can also buy 50ml bottles for about $25.00, so that should be about 150 fills. Then all you/I need to do is find out which fill seems to work best for us. So I would definitely say refilling would be cheaper, especially because there seems to be many different things you can use as fill for you carts.

I dont know the size of your carts or type of fill, but for comparison sake one of my carts seems to equal about a half pack of analogs. I hope this helps some.

See now that I did not know it is looking better for me.I am trying to save money by not buying multiple ecigs just to find one that I like.I am enjoying my 510 but the short lived carts and refilling them all the time is turning me off to it.Even with the PTB mods I'm still vaping thru them quick.

I dont know what size my bottle is but it seems like I could only fill abou 10 mouthpiece before the bottle will be empty. maybe I have a smalll bottle?

Well my sample pack came with 10 3ml bottles and one bottle will fill 5 carts for me.So maybe your bottle is bigger:D
