Cartomizer weep hole location?

Hey guys and girls
I have probably a simple question. Does the location of the weep hole on a cart with tank setup matter. I work from home and am on the computer (laptop and sitting in a couch/chair) a lot and tend to keep the pv on my chest between vaping. If the weep hole is is facing up, does this affect the way the cart weeps the fluid from the tank?

That hole (or slot for some) has to be immersed in liquid in order for it to wick into the carto. It doesn't have to be continuous - the cartos have adequate capacity to run a while if the hole in the side not under the liquid 100% of the time.

I figured it didn't have to be constantly submerged but also didn't want to chance ruining it if for some reason it did need to. The main reason I asked is because I don't have it standing up most of the time, I usually lay in down in front of the keyboard.

I don't really think it matters. I would think that most of the juice wouldn't come by gravity as much as being sucked in during the draw or a dry pull. I'd say as long as you aren't continually firing it with the hole out of the juice you'll be fine. A few dry pulls here and there won't hurt either and may prolong carto life.

I don't think it matters. You don't want them too high because you'd have to keep the tank full. Too low and they might get covered by the bottom grommet.

I dry pull mine a time or two if the hole has been uncovered for very long. Most of mine stay standing up, but I have been known to fall asleep on the couch with one in my hand or lap or wherever.

After some more invesitgating i've been doing that too. Sometimes now just for a nice flavor hit ill put my finger over the battery hole and take a nice draw to suck some juice in.
