cartomizers for KR808D-1

Hi all, I know that it there be info somewhere on this site about this but I didn't want to search all over for it but do they make empty cartomizers for the KR808D-1 (I have the auto battery smoketip) If so where is a good place to buy them? I have been using my already smoked cartos and using the condom method to refill them, but I hear you can only do that a couple of times. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Vapor4Life and Bloog have a good rep for blank cartos with something of an edge to Bloog for their horizontal coil, but they're usually out of stock unlike V4L. Nhaler was carrying the horizontal coil cartos (and I loooove them), but they're out of them right now. I've also gotten blank cartos of good quality from LiteCigUSA. That said, you can use your cartos a little longer than you think if you're willing to clean them properly. I have and I'm about to do my second full cleaning tonight.

You can buy blank cartos for the 808 from Vapor4Life and IkenVape. You should be able to refill them many, many times before they go bad. I just pop the mouthpiece out and use the drip method to fill them. A standard carto will take 20-25 drops and an XL carto can take as many as 55-65 drops.

I just ordered some refillable carto's from V4L and some juice from freedomsmokeusa. I haven't got them yet, but I'm very excited. One of the videos I watched said that the cartos need to sit for 12 hours or so before you use them, but most of the posts I've found here don't say anything about a wait time. Is this optional or am I confused (again)?

I should point out that the carto's I ordered are 808's, which is why I'm posting here. V4L actually had them in stock. Pretty much the same price as everybody else that I've seen this weekend.

Also, I have a bunch of used carto's laying about. Instead of an ashtray on my coffee table, I now keep a tin, into which I throw the old carto's when they've run out. I don't get around to emptying very often .
For once my laziness has paid off!
I just found out a few days ago that they can be refilled!
However, I'm a little unclear on the differences between filling a new "blank" carto, and refilling used ones. Any specifics would be appreciated!

Oh, just an FYI, madvapes has the blank carto's for 808's in stock and they have cheaper shipping than everyone else. I've never ordered from them so *grain of salt here*, but I've seen good reviews of them on this board.

I put in about 10 drops, avoiding the center. I shake it like thermometer to get the juice down, add about 5 drops, repeat.
You don't want the carto to look dry, but you don't want it to look slushy either or you'll get a mouthful.

What you never want to do is vape a dry carto, that's why people wait to vape it- for the juices to make it to the bottom of the carto. Once it gets a burnt taste, it's dead and you need to throw it away.

I've done both- filled them and vaped right away and let them sit. It's probably better to let them sit but sometimes you could use them if you think you have enough juice in the carto.

Check the battery end to see if you have leaks. A leak will short out your automatic battery. It's a good idea to get a q-tip with alcohol and clean the end of your battery before charging it.

If you have a battery issue and there's juice gunked up on your battery, it could void your warranty with Smoke Tip. You're 'supposed' to use their prefilled cartos.

If you are filling a pre-filled carto, they don't take nearly as much juice. Do the same thing, drip juice in, shake, drip in.

Unfortunately all of my batteries (for now) are V2's so I don't really have a warranty. I'm already shopping for new ones.

www.vapsafe.com has decent ones, both prefilled and empties at good prices on the five packs.

I'm really loving CE2 cartos at 2.4ohms on my little smoke tip (and other KR-808D-1) batteries. The plastic/clear type might be a bit fragile for knocking about in purses and pockets but wow do they vape easy compared to a regular carto. You might can find someplace with the stainless sleeves to try out for something a bit more portable. If you do find some older than Rev 5...pop them open and burn off the wicks before using!

Several places carry them, here's the first hit I got for a place that has both regular and XL sizes in metal or clear casings in stock. CE2 Cartomizers

The trick to these is to carefully pull the sleeve off and burn the wicks, coil, and cup good with a lighter before using. Rev 5 and later you don't have to burn them first.

No, but I believe that liberty flights has cartos for a kr808. They were out of stock for a long time but I think they're back in stock.

Ikenvape has the super long cartos for the KR808.
