If you don't burn them too dry they will last until the stuffing gets singed, or it starts to taste bad, or gets weak, or dies and won't make vapor. The answer is vague - I've heard 4-13 times on average.

You can refill them if they have non-glued soft end cap on the mouth end, and some people have other ways to fill them. You didn't say what brand or kind of cartos you have so go one youtube and try to find a video of someone refilling the kind you have. or say what kind you have and maybe someone can find a video for a similar kind.

there is a review on the page that you linked .........might answer your ?

it says "Although these cartos can't be cleaned like more open cartos, from the reviews I've read on ECF, people are getting a week or more, heavy vaping, and many, many refills with the same carto."

>a week or more, heavy vaping, and many, many refills with the same carto.

So I can expect about a week of heavy vaping I assume.

Haven't used that type of carto, been using the ce2 xl carto's with my ego and they can be refilled 30 or more times(still using my first ones). Had some stuffing filled carto's, lasted about 5 refills before they started not working correctly. Had 510 atties that after about a month need to be replaced, my ego type b seem to be lasting longer, but I don't use them much anymore. Get a pack of 5 carto's and see how they work for you, try some ce2's.

Well some people manage to burn out attys pretty quick too. But in general, if well cared for, an atty (which costs about 5x what one carto costs) will last more than 5x as long as a carto. The downside is that carts need to be topped off and refilled more often than cartos.

So attys of good quality and well cared for should last longer. Try a couple of real Joye 510 normal (not LR) attys. (or if you have Ego or Riva 510 then I guess you could use the LR ones - I am not sure what is different about the experience). And get some blank 510 cartridges (carts). If you just want to try an atty, get one and 1 pack of carts then get 1-2 more attys if you like it so you can alternate them and have a spare.

Re well cared for - for best performance and life, keep them clean and don't burn them too hot. If an atty or the vapor feels abnormally hot then something is not right and the atty is not getting enough juice. So you fix whatever is wrong - top off the the cart, or do a full refill of the cart, or adjust the cart stuffing for better contact.

When 510 cart stuffing gets old and used and stops wicking well or tastes bad, consider replacing it with the precut 510 blue foam pieces from strictlyejuice.com (I am not a big fan of their juices though). They charge 75 cents for 10 precut pieces. I use a different PV and I cut those down for my smaller carts. It holds its shape, is easy to remove and put back in, easy to wash and pat dry. Good stuff.

Re cleaning attys - I alternate two and have one unused spare in case of atty failure. Every weekend I swap attys. I switch to the clean dry one after priming the bridge with some juice. I blow out the used one into a tissue then put it in a jar of vodka (grain alcohol would be purer). I scoop some of the alcohol through then lay it in the alcohol and make sure all air bubbles are out of it. next day I swish it around, scoop some alcohol through it to rinse out dissolved stuff, then shake it out and lay it to dry on paper towels. The next weekend I'll be switching to the cleaned one. if you needed it right away you could blow through it to dry or use a blow dryer.

And warning - brand new attys usually have awful tasting primer fluid in them that you do not want to inhale. Blow out a new atty into a tissue. Then you can do various things to get rid of the rest of the primer.

1. Put some 2-3 drops of ejuice on the bridge and put on a cart or drip tip and vape that without inhaling
or Rinse in a bit of alcohol and dry
or Rinse in water and dry (takes longer to dry)

re the ce2 cartos mentioned above - they last longer than normal cartos because they have no stuffing but also need a syringe to refill.

Thank you! The kit I'm ordering comes with 3 blank carts and 1 atty, and I plan on buying 5 more attys. I'll order the 5 cartos I linked to try them and as cheap backup in case my attys fail. But it sounds like just using a cart and atty separately is the winner.

There are MANY videos on YouTube about cartomizers, filling them, cleaning them, etc.
It really helps when you can watch someone going thru the process.
Alot of people use attys and cart, but many are also converting over to cartomizers.
I only use cartomizers and they are soooooo much easier to use and not as time consuming
as the attys, but that is only my opinion.

Good Luck and Happy Vaping
