Cartomizers - Type and how much juice you get through it prior to tossing.

I'm curious as to what other reo users are experiencing with cartomizers.

I've been using Boge 2.0 cartomizers from Crystal Clear vaping for about a month now and I'm curious to the experience others are getting with theirs.

I am vaping mostly VG liquids at 3.7v

I seem to get about 1-2 days or 2-4ml before the flavor drops significantly and then another 2-4 days before they start tasting burnt and get tossed.

Boge 2ohm are all that I use. I'd say that I get about the same usage as you are but for me the problem is they get clogged and don't draw right. Kind of like sucking on a straw that's plugged with a thick milk shake. Seems like darker colored and sweeter juices clog faster. Wish they lasted longer but still cheaper than smokes and much tastier and better for your health.
I've not had much success with atties... Too much leaking but I haven't tried them lately since I enjoy the Boges and just buy them by the brick.

I've experienced the same thing with darker, sweeter, VG juices and using them in cartos. The best alternative I've found to date is a LR 901 atty. I still use cartos for my lighter 80/20 PG/VG juices.

Do you use an adaptor for the 901 atty's? I've been seeing people reference them quite a bit today and I'm interested in trying them but was curious as I thought my grand only fit 510 and 306 threads

Yes, I do. 510 battery to 901 atomizer adapter, available at many vendors. I recommend the stealth adapter from avid vaper or the modded needle adapter from R&R Manufacturing.

I don't really keep track but I would guess 3-15 ml (big range I know)

I usually just do cartos on my mini and I don't think i've ever go two full bottles out of one with VG juice.
With my blackberry lemonade thats mostly PG and clear they go a long time.
Sometimes I'm switching because of flavor and others a tight draw .....

I never push it or worry about keeping one on a certain length of time though. At a buck fifty a pop I could use 6 per day and still be cheaper than my cig habbit was !!

PG juices certainly make a carto last longer though IMO.
Cartos are my going out device of choice, but at home I don't touch them much.

I use Boge 3ohm cartos on my Grand at 6 volts with a 70/30 mix liquid and get between 4 and 6 days life out of the carto.. I use them until the draw get's to tight..

This is basically my situation exactly, i use 80pg 20vg and my usual menthol will last me 5 days or so with about 15 or so ml through it but my other all day ill get maybe 3 days 10 ml...but I'm not really concerned by it, still cheaper than smoking

Yeah the BMV coffee and cream is really dark. I like it, but dont think I will order it again. I have been using an IKV 901 with it and have to clean out the atty each night. I had to order it though... how can you beat 180ml for 20 bucks (clearance).

I have used both Boge 2.0's and the dual-coils on my Mini, and typically get a couple weeks out of them (3-5 ml per day). I use Halo menthols in the Mini, which is a pretty clear juice.

I offer this based on my experience with boge 2.0 carto's, If my procedure kills your carto's that's on you. Not me But I have had pretty good success with it many time's .






I use boge 2.0 carto's from litecigusa , Love them .

I have been using vg AVJ boba's and gorilla and my carto's have been getting gunked up . I have been dropping 2 drops of 85 proof vodka in the carto on apposing sides let the carto sit overnight to soak in don't use alot of vodka it could get scary trust me . Start off small like one two drops.

IMPORTANT PART
When letting it soak in over night do not have it plugged into any mod as a matter of fact try to let the bottom hole have as much air flow as you can while keeping it standing up. This will allow the vodka or grain alcohol if your state allows it to really get in there

Now for the burn off . I try to use the clearest All PG juice (IM SURE CLEAR PLAIN PG NIC WOULD WORK BETTER) I have and just add to the carto to the point where I know the wick will not burn up .
And burn it without a tip on and do not try to vape the vodka it's yukky, until the point where the filler starts to turn back to a more white color. Don't push you luck too far without re-juicing if needed.


This has made draw much easier and often time's lowed OHM ratings by up too .8 points for me. But it has also burnt up carto's but I was going to toss them anyways ......


DO NOT FILL THE CARTO WITH VODKA just had to say that one more time !

They do not die instantly like an atty will. I do the same thing, use cartos mostly but always if I am going for the day or weekend.

+1 to Big Hitter's comment. I also use them when out since they forgive over squonking well making it easier when driving. I can vape all the way to work then squonk out some juice.

I am at 4 days on 2 cartos now, starting not to taste right so I guess 4-5 days is how long they are lasting me!

Thanks for all the responses everyone. It's nice to know how mileage varies just slightly for most of us. I just got a new shipment of juices so here's to loading up a fresh carto for the night

I also run boge 2.0 cartos on my mini almost exclusively for reasons previously mentioned.

Easy to squank, rarely see any juice overflow, cheap and reliable.

I love 306 atties, but they are less pocket friendly, have a tendency to just go *poof*, and expensive.

I try my best to make each boge last a week. But I also vape other devices in the evening.
