I dripped 10 drops into them then squonked the bottle a couple of times. And then I squonked every 6 hits. The flavor and vapor production was not to my liking.

Try this:

  1. Fill a carto condom almost to the top with juice.
  2. Press the threaded end of a brand new carto slowly into the condom until it touches the bottom.
  3. Pull the carto out of the condom and refill the condom halfway with juice.
  4. Repeat step #2.
  5. Pull out the carto and wipe the threads/body off with a paper towel.
  6. Let it set for a bit or overnight.
  7. Vape!

You can get several drags off a carto before you need to squonk and add more juice to it. Even then, it only takes a little, teeny, squonk, paired with an unpowered draw.

If you try this and Boge cartos still aren't to your liking, well... you gave them a fair shot, eh?

I usually drip 25 drops into it. Let it sit for about 30 minutes. THEN, I plug it on my REO and vape away. Usually squonk every 10-15 hits followed by a few dry hits to spread the juice around.

If the filler isn't properly soaked then you won't be getting the flavor nor vapor that you want. Also, overfilling it will also do that to you. Don't know how much times you squonked along with the 10 drops though.

I load the Boge cartos with 20 - 22 drops initially. Takes a long time to soak in. BigHitter will tell you he always lets his sit overnight. (I need his patience :) )

The trick is to be prepared :)
I only use Cartos for two of my flavors (Boba's and Taboo) so I try to keep an extra all filled with condoms back on in my ammo rack. When I pop that on I fill another to sit and soak.

So most of mine actually soak for 3-5 days :)

I used to fill more and leave them but I've found if they sit for too long the filler can swell up and pinch off the airway.

In a pinch I've rushed it and filled - used right away. Just have to be more careful.

I can get the 21 drops in pretty quick now. I leave the bottom condom on and drip 7 drops covering the air hole even.
Then put it to your mouth and blow hard a few times. The first 7 soak right in. Repeat with the second and third seven drops and its filled in 2 minutes.

Just started using that method a few weeks ago. Its a real time saver.

I compared cartos for best flavor with the most delicate juice I own - KBV's Mama's Angel Wings Rice Pudding.
All cartos were soaked over night.

My results were:

#1. CCV's stainless Resurrector 1.7 (dual carto)
#2. Smoktech's dual carto 1.5ish
#3. Boge 2.0

The Resurrector has an airy flow and I could taste layers of flavors.
The Smoketech provided great flavor (the higher resistance did not kill the delicate flavor), but the draw was a bit stiffer.
The Boge has a really nice, smooth draw; but the flavor was not as bold and complex as with CCV's Resurrector.

Just my :2c:.

OK, here's an update 1 week later with the same 3 cartos rotated equally using MAW joose (and the 1.7 is not a dual carto - whoops):

#1. CCV's 1.7 Resurrector is still the winner. Great flavor and an easy draw. Many more days left with this carto.
#2. Smoktech 1.5 dual carto. Great flavor but it's life is near the end as it does not draw so easily anymore.
#3. Boge 2.0. Great draw but still little to no flavor.

Gave the 3Ω Boge another shot at 6v Friday .... Honestly I've been grabbing that REO almost exclusively ever since :)

It took a while and I did quite a long stop at 5v first, but this 6v has been the shizzle lately !!!

3.5Ω 510 IKV attys or 3Ω Boge cartos .... either way I'm diggin the lung busting vape way too much all the sudden.

I was lucky enough to get a woodvil yesterday. I love the CCV resurrectors on my mini, will they work on the woodvil? I need to put another order in and curious what would be best. I vape kretek and a lot of Halo Malibu.

The Woodvils have the same 510 connection as your Mini so they'd work fine. BUT... be aware that energy from the battery is conducted more efficiently in a wood mod compared to a mechanical metal mod due to the copper wiring versus using the body of the mod as the ground. You might try a 1.7 ohm Resurrector on a Woodvil and find that it hits too hard for your liking. You won't know till you try it. Higher ohm cartos are readily available from multiple vendors.

My best guess is a .3v difference between a Grand and a Woodvil. I don't own a Woodvil but for some reason I think the Grand body eats up about .4v and the woodvil .1. I have no idea why I think this. :)

If anyone has done measurements I would like to really know. using my figures it would amount to about 1.2 watts difference at the atty using 3.7v batteries coming off the charger at 4.2v.
