I have been using the dual coil cartomizers for about 2 months now...but can never seem to get more than 3 days from the cartomizer before it becomes severely airy and burnt tasting. they work great the first day and slowly getting worse. I know they are disposable but was hoping for a longer period before they need to be replaced. I vape about 3 to 5 ml a day. I get them full and refill often... so why do they get yucky so fast? What are others experiencing with dual coil cartomizers. I am using smoktek cartomizers.

I hear folks don't like the MadVapes ones because of the "platform" thing at the base of the carto, but I like it .... makes me feel like the tank isn't going anywhere. I haven't had any leakes, the carto wicks well .... I really like mine, and they are inexpensive. (they don't appear cheap, look well finished)

It could be your juice. Is it darker sweet juice or high VG? Some juice clog cartos faster than others. That's the trade-off with some juices. How about a not quite as hot carto? Does it do the same thing with boge cartos?

Agreed. Tasty vapor juice killed my one dual coil carto very quickly.

What is the ratio of the juice your using? And is it a dark/cloudy juice? And what vendor is it from.

I find that juices with sediments in them clog cartos faster than anything. So maybe the juice your using contains alot of flavoring sediment. I use the Ressurctor cartos and get on avg 2-4 weeks from one. I do vale one juice though that contains a lot of sediments and with that juice I barely get a week out of a carto before its pretty clogged.

Also are you a chain-vaper? If your using a higher VG juice, that could be what's causing the burning taste. Thicker juices normally dont wick as well and a carto will take longer to wick up thick juices. If you chain vape you could be getting the burnt taste from vaping faster than the carto can wick the juice. Doing that can dry out the wick and give a burnt taste, even if the carto isnt empty or low on juice. I recommendP waiting a few minutes in between vapes to let the wick catch up and wet the coil. Also if you can use higher PG juices with 30%VG or less. I mostly use an 80/20 ratio in my Ressurectors and it helps them last longer. I would try those things and see if it helps
