Yes, I have had this. It's some kind of odd combination of both the battery and the cart.

I've had it happen with both blanks and prefilled, particularly red blanks and spearmint prefilled. For some reason, it only happens on my black manuals, but those same carts thread just fine on my silver manual or diamond. It's not consistent either, it only happens once in a while. Almost all carts will thread onto the black manuals just fine.

Sorry I can't be of any help, but you're not alone! :)

I've had this happen recently with a couple of carts. It's odd, because I have two identical chrome autos, purchased at the same time, and the cart will tighten right up on one of them but will feel stripped on the other; then I will grab a new cart the next day to replace it and the same thing happens, but only fits properly on the other battery.

Weird.

It's always the cool carts The Scootness sir. :) Seriously though, that's the only time I've had this experience, a few of the recent smilin special prefills were loose, as were a few of the light blue blank ones. Have a feeling it's just a slight manufacturing defect, though they do work great on some of the old autos that required sanding (and adapters with the same issue)... Sadly there's not much fix for it other than a cs ticket, thread lock would block the air flow (not to mention don't know how safe it is to breathe in), super glue would make it a semi permanent addition to the battery, etc... :)

I have no idea if this would work or not (I've never done this), but, if you have any teflon tape (that white super thin tape used in plumbing to stop leaks) give that a try. Wrap the battery threads once to see if that will tighten it up without restricting airflow. Just be sure not to cover the air holes. Should be easy to remove with a straight pin or something small that will fit between the battery threads.
