critterbug, you can boil them and clean with 100proof vodka.theyd be like new!!

I'm curious...can you use rubbing alcohol in/on the carts?

I thought i had read somewhere you could also clean the batteries by soaking the threaded ends in a shot glass of rubbing alcohol.

Would this harm the carts/batts?

Anyone who tells you they are getting 30 drops in without it leaking out is full of it. I have been having the best success with around 20 drops & I spin the heck out of 'em! The carto is not big enough to handle 30 drops. I hate to see you give up on refilling.

Huh? what? really? u serious? i guess anyone that makes a general statement about what people do could be called full of it.

I and many more people here....actually let me say the majority routinely get 30 and more drops in there cartos. I have personally been able to get 30 drops in without even spinning.

And....the carts hold 1ML of juice. Bottles vary therefore drops vary but as a general rule 25/40 drops can put in a carto. If your using a 2Liter bottle then ok...i will concede that you can only get 1 drop in but if your using 3ML to 30ML bottles like most of us then 25/40 drops is attainable.

Tip of the week: if you only get 15 drops in.....your cart was not empty.

By leak, I'm talking about a mouthful of juice when you start vaping that 30 drop cart. I can put 40 drops in a cart, but the fill can only soak up 20 give or take. The rest gets sucked out or blown out when it doesn't vape properly.

Im sorry. I disagree.

I disagree from personal experience and i disagree from simply watching and reading other posts.

Great point, but I wouldn't know about the larger bottles because they have not had them for a while. When I can order the larger bottles I will have to test that theory.

as far as the discussion regarding leaking goes--i fill clean and DRY carts with 1 ml of fluid (measured by syringe) and then let 'em sit overnight and have no problems. i'm picky, too.

seriously tho, hueysd, don't toss 'em. i'm sure that those of us that refill (esp. if we use other juices) are a large enough 'market' for your tossed cartos. & you could make little money back.

10 spin 10 spin... Some carts can handle more.. but it isn't worth it. Every cart I filled can handle at least 20. Every time it's begging for more than that, resist the temptation.

I've been boiling them out to change flavors. I throw 10 carts in a pot of boiling water for 10 minutes or so, take them out, blow the excess out through both ends, and leave them out to dry overnight. They're good as new in the morning.

Sounds like you're simply overfilling.

Interesting. Some people agree with me some don't. I wonder what people mean by a "drop" as well. A full drop is letting it drip out of the bottle, not touching it to the inside edge of the cart. We just saw another thread that showed 1 ml as 25 full drops from a bottle. As I prefer not to waste juice by blowing it out after filling, I never go past that mark. usually 20 - 22 is my mark. Like I said, I can put 40 drops in, but I'd be wasting a ton. I have a hard time buying the 30 "full" drops as anything but wasteful. Agree with me or don't. I stand by what I said.

Like you, I am conservative with my juice usage when refilling. It's the smart thing to do.
