Sorry guys for all the Newbie questions, I just got my kit a few hours ago and things keep coming up. Ok, of course I got a nice sampler pack 11mg along with my order. I want to try the other cartos to get an idea of the other flavors out there. Here is my dilemma: I'm not a big smoker, a pack a week..yes a pack a week maybe two if I go out drinking on the weekend. So my question is: if I break out a new carto just to try the flavor and put it away for later use; does it go bad once you vape on it for the first time?

2. Also, is their a way of storing these things? I know putting the rubber tips back on the ends, but do I store them with the filter (the side I suck on) side down so the juice doesn't leak out? or does it matter?

Thanks again for putting up with all my stupid questions.

You should be fine if you take a few puffs off of a carto and then put the caps back on. If you are going to let any carto sit for an extended period (like more than a day), I would recommend putting the caps back on so they don't dry out.

As for storage, I and others have found boxes like these to be handy - they are available for a few bucks at Home Depot or a crafts store:

Listen Dude, there's no such thing as a stupid question around here, relax and keep asking! It doesn't matter much how you store them, just keep the caps on if you aren't using for a day or more. Enjoy the experience of trying them all out, and start as many threads as you want; there is always someone here to help :)

Edit: PianoGuy posted his picture and reply while I was writing. FYI Outflying, this is what happens after a few months to those who frequent this subforum; YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Thanks, those boxes are cool. I don't know if I will ever have that big of a supply but I will have to look for a smaller one.) Ok, storage problems solved, everyone is so nice on this site. Thanks for all your help...I can already see myself ordering more of that RY4, caramel is my favorite so far. I'm in trouble though, I only usually smoke 3-5 cigarettes a day and I can see myself vaping waaayyy more than that....

This was common among many of us when we started; I suggest you get some low strength carts for those evening and late night vape sessions so you can get some sleep; I was up for a week straight initially!

I agree, even if he is a Packer fan :D

Lower mg cartos are a great idea in the evening, and make sure to drink plenty of water. I had a few nights at the beginning when I felt like I had drunk a pot of strong coffee before going to bed.

Yeah, but at least I don't have wonder if my "star" quarterback will be returning for the next 5 months! :D

BTW, I am extremely envious of your massive stash!

Har! I hope he does come back, and think he probably will, though he took a serious beating in that last game. I always enjoyed watching him play, even when he wore the green and gold, so it was a treat to see him have such a good season.

The stash has grown a bit since that pic was taken - if there wasn't this ridiculous FDA suit hanging over our heads, I wouldn't have stocked up nearly as much.

When I suggested "filter side down" I was suggesting it for when it was attached to the battery. I know I wrote that - but apologize if it was unclear. It'd be hard to put the "filter" (cartomizer) "filter side down". That'd probably create a quantum singularity, putting something inside itself like that. You'd need to fold space-time... ;)

My cases are exactly like pianoguy's - I found mine at JoAnne's fabric store, in the crafts section, after trying a tackle box (quickly outgrown, PIA), desk organizers (no lids, wrong size sections) and smaller, similar ones that WalMart carries. They're so nice because you can adjust the size of the little bins. I have two for cartos, one for juices, and one for carts to be washed, washed carts, blanks, condoms, i-don't remember-if-i-finished-these-carts, I-hate-this-flavor, and misc little tools. I just bought a fourth one; they stack nicely. Batts I keep in a pen cup, and chargers on a power strip in the bathroom.
They are the only things in my house that I can still find by Saturday morning, except the dog, who is asleep on my stomach, and the laptop, which seems to be an extension of my body.

Add me as a +1 for the organizer type that planoguy has. I found something similar at a hobby shop when I went in to get a picture framed. They were $2-3 each in my case. Well worth the investment if you're a touch OCD about organization like I am. I also have a smaller one, maybe 5''x4'' that I keep in my desk at work now in case I get a jones for a flavor I don't have open in my V4L case.

Simple.....if you have a flux capacitor handy!

Nice stash! Very impressive!!

Ummm, not to be a bummer or anything but I did notice the 3rd case in the back is looking kinda empty... :p
